something crossed my mind whilst reading back on the Ryan jack being booed for Scotland comments from yesterday. I'm jyst posing a question/ theory rather than making a statemen but would we be surprised if the ones booing hack were intact aberdeen/ Scotland fans rather than just Scotland fans as a whole. Its certainly a possibility as Scotland have a large aberdonian support. And we all know they hate us as much as we hate them. Just a theory?

I think that with the game also being played at Pittodrie when they were booing could also be a clue.

Definitely Pittodrie as that was his first cap for Scotland when they halfwits decided that its a good idea to boo your own players.
Absolutely crazy I've been to lots of Scotland games and always cheered or applauded any celtic player because once you pull on the scotland Jersey then we are all together supporting our great nation.

That were booing Rangers players at Hamden when Graeme Souness was the manager,
Anyway I believe the game will be called off at the weekend and I think the season will be called off too, or at least put back for a few months,
Things have gotten far worse in the past few days, my consultants secretary called me to warn of real concern about getting patients into hospitals, worse than it was before, and it’s going to get worse again, saying a “ precedent has been set†is nonsensical, a C.V. will take precedence of everything, and it’s daily occurrence that more and more football players have been infected, that means the “ elite sportsman bubble “ isn’t working at all, and international Football should not have gone ahead, , our pubs are shut, yet they have the strictest of rules for customers, how long can they let football carry on while recording more and more cases?

Well there u go then, so it wasn't "Scotland" fans booing jack but intact sci bag Aberdeen fans and are we really shocked at anything they do. Imo then that puts to bed the booing of rangers player by Scotland fans as an excuse for being against the national side. The treatment of rangers players had everything to do with the club and it’s allegi to the queen,

Gerrard, do you actually believe they weren’t booing Rangers players at Hamden, Easter rd? Been happening since I was a kid nearly 60 years ago, if you simply believe it only happens at pittodrie then you’re very much mistaken, they also sing through the British anthem too btw, and if memory serves, the good ol tartan army don’t show too much respect to anyone actually, if you’re a Rangers supporter they don’t even want you,
It’s the allegiance, and the British part they object too, and always have.

This rubbish it wasnt scotland fans booing jack. the fans were there to support scotland no matter what team they supported they were there for scotland so being any player from any club team is absoloutly shocking and a disgrace to world football.

I have memories of going to hampden for big international games, and was fortunate enough to be allowed to climb over and into the old enclosure for the England game where dalglish put the ball clements legs, but in my 20s I noticed a clear political element among Scotland fans and the tartan army had definitely taken a strong dislike for anything resembling British, that is the reason they do not want anything remotely Rangers, Aberdeen fans may hate all Rangers players but the seeds were sown by members of the “ tartan army†turning the following of the Scottish football team as a political statement, and the hatred of the crown and all things British, this has existed in the tartan army ever since and manifests itself in the hatred of the one club associated with the crown and the Queen, that club will always be our club.

Went to last home international v England at hampden and English fans (few thousand) usually only couple of hundred of them were waving a massive Glasgow Rangers banner. They won 1-0 Steve Bull scored.
Also remember they were running riot in Glasgow before and after the game, loads of them got arrested and a lot of them got sent down.
Imagine walking into Barlinnie as an English football hooligan, Ouch.

And yet John there are some who don’t know that, and make up reasons, it’s quite clear, they hate the Britishness of Rangers, and the tartan army even has its own “ political wing†guess who they support .? Nope, they “ stole “ the national team, and I still to this day have English friends and colleagues who simply have never understood why Scottish football fans hate the English team, trying to explain its the commentators they hate doesn’t work, because they hate the commentators too.

To thumb, I'm only 34 mate my knowledge of such things isn't as long as you're own or probably most other folk on the site. I think its obvious though that that folk like yourself are correct in what you're saying and you're reasons for how you feel. In the same sense folk like me and the others who look beyond these things and simply want to support Scotland as we are Scottish are right in our feelings aswell. Its a shame things end up like this tbh, and its down to opinions at the end of the day. A good healthy debate to pass the day lads ðŸ‘.
