Doesn't matter how long he played for, he still done well. And in my opinion, fans that were actually there are better judges. And as he is not there player, they would be all over him, if he had played badly.

It kind of does matter, really difficult to comment on anybody’s performance after only 17 minutes.
Give him a few weeks playing 90 minutes then you can make a fair assessment.
