There's been much talk on here about signing players and then loaning them out or keep loaning out our young players because they are too young. What rubbish. Just look at Ajax this season. Not much different from Scotland with the financial predicament Dutch clubs are in as Ajax have to sell but their manager has put youngsters in the team and they have been brilliant. I've said it on here before, if you are old good enough you are old enough. How long do we wait for our kids to be given a chance? Until they are 30? Rant over, but Ajax are a breath of fresh air and have hardly been in Europe's 'elite' in recent years.

Ajax unlike rangers and even Celtic have colt teams playing in the lower division which a lot of there young players now have played in and got good experience playing against seasoned pros. Our youngsters don’t get that playing in reserve football as most teams made up of under 20s players and youth players. Sfa need to get it sorted and allow us to get colt teams into lower leagues and follow the Dutch way of doing things and we might be in a position like Ajax one day.

Coldo. Do you mean like 'Super Ally' gave the kids a chance when he could have done when we were dumped down to the bottom tier of Scottish football? Had he done so then, the outcome would have been much brighter upon our return to the top flight.

the problem Ally had in lower leagues was we HAD to get back to SPL as quixkly as possible and that would have been a risk filling the team with kids.

Doiger I'm not sure why you find this hard to grasp mate, if they are ready they will play. They have to be ready physically and mentally as well as ability. If they are not and you play them you could hinder their development. Take liam burt for example, despite the hype, introduced far too early to the first team. As for your super ally comment. Some of the young guys were ready and some were not. But I guarentee you that we would not have had it all our own way in the lower leagues if played all youth because the majority were not ready physically or mentally and relied heavily on the older pro's for these attributes otherwise the kids would have been eaten alive in the lower leagues particularly the championship. Its about balance. You can't just play youth for the sake of it doigerðŸ‘.

Barry mckay, frazer aird etc got a chance doiger but were not good enough at the higher level, that's why they are no longer with us. So your theory that we could have been in a better position on our return to the spl is nonsense because guys like mckay perry aird etc got a chance but were not good enough, some were not good enough for the championship mateðŸ‘.

I'm not buying that. We could've signed promising youngsters from all over Scotland when we got put down the divisions and saved millions. Fans would've accepted defeats as long as promotions was the end result. We had our chance then and now it's gone. Nothing done right after going down. Was a joke.
