I feel for Danny - we have full backs that offer nothing offensively or defensively, god only knows what Joe Rothwell has been told to do, two bombscares as cb's and striker's who can't score. We'll be lucky to finish third this season, genuinely disgusted by this mob.

There is no getting away from it and it can't be sugarcoated our recruitment has been a complete disaster this season with Martin being the worst and most of the new players can't handle the pressure … we definitely need to get our defence sorted first we are absolutely chronic at the back and have been for a few seasons now.

I feel bad for him too, he showed great character though by going up to the supporters at the end of the game and talking with them. He's really up against with this team. I also listened to his after match press conference.
Unlike RM he took full ownership and showed his eagerness to somehow overcome this. I think the only way though is for the board to admit Thelwell's failings. It's going to cost them to fix this. Just my opinion.

Fernandez and Nsiala need to be given a chance, they can not be any worse than what we are currently seeing. Barron for me brings energy that Rothwell does not have and I would also like to see Curtis. Rohl has some job to limp this team to the next transfer window. Possibly the worst back 4 we have ever had.

If Thelwell and Stewart remain, Rohl doesn't stand a chance!
This job is far too big for him at this time in his coaching career, and he should never have got the gig. It's not his fault! Regardless of how much time he gets, he'll always been up against it due to the clowns he needs to work under. I feel for him as he's on a hiding to nothing.

The one positive I can take and I'm scrapping the barrell here, when Nico Raskin dropped into the centre of defence when the full backs disappeared up the park as a back 3 we looked a bit more steady and less fragile.
Think we need to move to a back 3 going forward to try n shore up the defence. As I said I'm as scrapping the barrell but need to try and find something to lift my spirits.
