The result was not a surprise. Anybody that has watched Rangers over the last few months knows McCoist only has one tactic - the long ball to Daley. It is the worst Rangers team I have ever seen. Go Ally please, and take Black and the rest of them with you.

Let's be honest the team needs gutted with most needing to go.

Bell - decent keeper but not much better than that.

Foster - hopeless complete waste of money. Player who is done and won't cut it in the Premiership

McCulloch - good servant to the club and didn't desert like some. However his time is up and he will struggle in the championship next season.

Mohsni - total bombscare. Thinks he is better than he actually is and some of his performances have been woeful. Another who will get found out in the higher leagues.

Wallace - best player in the team however he has went back under Ally.

Smith - another waste of wages. Well past his best and never a left midfielder

Black - has been a total embarrassment to the club since signing. Has produced bad performance after bad performance and is totally one paced. Also likes to bet against his team. Wonder how Jock Wallace would thought of that?

Law - major disappointment this season. Falls out of games too much and disappears for long periods of the game.

Aird - very good at hitting the first man with corners or crosses. Showed early promise but like many others going backwards under Ally

Hutton - should never play in the same team as Black this was obvious last season however our wonderful manager obviously doesn't see this.

Daly - has done well but very limited won't be up to it by the time we get back to the premiership

Faure - very poor defender who will get found out in the higher leagues

Clark - another player going backwards under the manager. A shadow of the player he was last season

Gallagher - no doubt he will go the same way under Ally backwards

Who in their right mind would give Ally money to spend? Who? All you Ally supporters, c'mon, name one person that would trust him with a shilling? This has to stop NOW! He has to go NOW!. anything else is folly on supporters, shareholders and The Board. And that is a fact.

Wonder where the Ally apologists are tonight? Their silence is deafening. Once again he embarrasses the club with another dismal cup performance. How many is that now? How can anyone defend this imposter? £6-£7m in wages and he can't win the Ramsdens cup. Do his supporters actually think he can take the club forward?

Lbj d, I'm having a little chuckle at your posts. Turn the clock back 40/50 years ago and after a day like today my options were bed or pub and sometimes pub then bed. It did not help but my mother in the 60's and wife in the 70's usually spoke to me the next day. Just remember the tossers that played today are not worthy of your love for the Gers and the manager----don't start me.

Is love to see Billy Davis be the manager, sadly this won't happen as mccoists priority is to get to the premiership which I think he'l be given the chance to do so, unfortunately with the duds he keeps signing he's no chance!

Mccoist is the biggest dud. If the board want season ticket money with upto 20% increase then ally got to go and get manager that can get best out of our over paid flops.

Get rid of mccoist, see if Durie will take over for the rest of the season.

then get a young hungry manager in.

Totally agree, I think there's to much of a pals act with him & the player's which isn't right, he was my hero as a player but as a manager he just doesn't cut it.

A cup final and these so called professional players can't even be motivated to play to win. I'm so ashamed never thought we would be so bad. Sorry not even a change of management will make a difference to them.

Agree on this one but some of these so called players were decent before they came and only got worse under this management team. so the manager has failed in job which is to better the team and the players under him and surely must go

If that's the best we can do against a team that have lost 5 out of their last 10 games in the Championship then next season if Ally is still in charge will be nightmarish.

As Ally has said himself, Rangers fans deserve better.

And that should include at least a semi competent manager with some tactical know-how.

Wish he would resign but I think we all know he is much to fond of his fat wage packet to do the right thing.

Not here as an Ally-hater - have been trying to be patient BUT if there is a silver lining to today's cloud it has to be a rethink of the management team - I work as a people manager and I have three main tasks - build a team, set direction and develop the team - how many Rangers players should get a game for RRFC? How many Rangers players are better now than they were 2 years ago - answers (1) all and (2) none - I say this with a heavy heart but in any walk of life the management team the would be gone - their is a management adage that says if you run a team of engineers and they need a new manager the last thing you do is appoint the best engineer - all this does as lose you a good engineer and gain you a poor manager - sentiment needs to go

You forgot no ability, no pace, no tactics, no clue and most importantly no f***ing good enough for Rangers with the possible exception of Law, Aird and Clark. I never thought I would see a player as bad as Ortiz again but Faure wow! and Black is an animal.

Ally is an utter disaster as a manager and his cup record is truly beyond a joke. I doubt even his biggest cheerleaders could try and defend it. Every day he is in charge Celtic move further ahead of us.

And is it really true that outside McCoist & Lennon thta the two best paid managers/coaches in Scottish football are Ian Durrant & MacDowell?

@1 tbh mate I think a great section of the support had already chose not to renew for next season, myself included. Do you know what kind of contract mccoist is currently on? Is it a rolling contract? We need shot of the joker. Naz I wouldn't be surprised at all if the chuckle brothers where on some serious doh just another needless drain on the club's finances

Ive always said allow mccoist to win us the championship then move him upstairs but in the last couple of month I've been asking myself would we win the championship under ally todays performance finally told me under ally I could not see us getting to premier league we will stagnate in championship under ally who would want to sign for a team getting worst it will ruin the name of our club

Well come 6pm we will be eiher higher than the barrat helicopter or in the depths of dispair wanting a gun to shoot ally on another note on friday iwas in manchester at my friends who works for sports direct and he says ashley has been in talks with with other shareholders about purchasing a bigger holding in rangers because he reckons run properly it could be a real money spinner and sound buisness for sports direct and low and behold its in the people stating he already holds 7% of club I know newcastle supporters don't like because he runs club as a stand alone buisness which would be great for rangers at present time and to be honest I for one would rather see ashley come in rather than d king and his wonderful ideas (using fans money) for ashley to make money the club would need to be succesful which would be good enough for me it also not involve any more in fighting as he would buy shares and remove bandits without anymore damage to club

Billy today was a shambles, can't believe once again we've been pumped out a cup. The only player who done themselves justice was wee aird, the rest didn't have a clue, no creativity, no get up and go. Will be interesting next season, wonder how long we will languish in the championship, on today's performance, a very long time.
