Couldn't agree more posted several times sayin bring in a manager with no ties to the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Who though?

Agree0 Disagree0

McInnes doing what he has with the sheep on budget for me is the deciding factor IF he would take the job. redsox555

We are getting continually linked with stuart mccall and derek mcinnes as possibly going to be the next rangers manager, I would like to throw this out there to all gers supporters, who guys do you reckon is the better manager/coach and would make the better rangers manager, stuart mccall or derek mcinnes?Ed, if you don't mind could you do a poll on this for me mate, cheers!

{Ed039's Note - Poll up)

How do you get to the poll ed?

{Ed039's Note - Voting polls menu selection on the left hand side of the page)

Good question big red
It would be Stuart McCall for me, but only just, both are good in their own ways, I just think McCall would flourish at a club the size of Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

McIness for me, but only if he takes over at the right time. Once, hopefully soon, the current owners have been chased, and the new owners have a long term plan.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3, the time for a new manager to take over is right now, 3/4 of the first team are out of contract by June/July,

A new man must be brought in to decide who if any get new contracts and also to identify replacements, all of who will have to be free transfers

The issue is that we don't have money to bring in a new management team right now!

Agree0 Disagree0

Derek mcinnes by far, young, been about, managed teams without having a big budget to spend, doesn't take no rubbish, like youth, likes to play football, proved he's a good manager everywhere he's went, a no brainer for me, it would have to b Derek mcinnes

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would D M leave a team that's top of the SPL & improving every game! No chance

Agree0 Disagree0

You all seem to be forgetting that Derek McInnes is the manager of the top of the table premier league outfit. Why would he come to Rangers.?

Kilmarnock interested in taking Boyd back. Would you let him go and what would the fee be? Or let him go for free to free up wages?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would take 250k easy

Agree0 Disagree0

How much is the train fare to Kilmarnock. I will pay.

If a new manager came in and cut out the cake and tea at halftime I think boyd could still do a good job for us, when I've seen him in matches he looks overweight to me! Plus we are probably not playing to his strengths, I like him and Clarke upfront together

Agree0 Disagree0

With boyd. I think £400000 sounds good buisness.

Agree0 Disagree0

Killie have nothing balloons and lucky bags

Agree0 Disagree0

Boyd was scoring for fun, before he went back to ibrox, surely the right manager would get him scoring again

Agree0 Disagree0

Free killie pies lol

Agree0 Disagree0

With no midfield and no width on the park how is any penalty box striker gonay score. get real

Agree0 Disagree0

Boyd should be allowed to go and if we could get back some of the signing-on fee he got, all the better.
Not just Boyd, we should be open to offers for all the squad. Obviously there are a few we would want to keep, but in our position money talks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just free up the salary.

Something has to be seriously wrong when Boyd scored for fun last season at a higher level, he is a natural goal scorer, MCC should have signed eremenko to sit and dictate play and open defences with 2 younger fitter players beside him, and boyd and Clarke up front, airs was never a good player, only mcoist that so, we have faced many good young players over the last few years who would have begged to come to Ibrox, he should have found a good defence among them, and two fast wingers, we would be flying by now, can't help but feel he actually made us a laughing stock with men like black airs, foster, smith, daly, and especially kyle, who was a virtual cripplewen MCC brother him here, it defies belief that he didn't have the basic knowledge not to sign an old man who had chucked it years ago, I would love to here his explanation for that one?, nobody is scared by rangers now, and the management team were responsible for that, now KMD has to go soon too, or we will stutter thru inmidtable within weeks, andgodhelp us on Feb 1st,

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes Tommy, That is the bones of our on-field troubles----- amcc. and a collection of players that have no organisation.
Individually, most of our players could do a job, under the right manager, the right players around him and, most importantly, the correct tactics.
Thus, we must have a gut out and give the new man, that must come in, a new deck.

Agree0 Disagree0

I ain't a lover of boyd and he has done what I said would happen ie not fit but messi could not score playing with us

Agree0 Disagree0

Swap for Young muirhead?

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Jan 2015 18:33:59
I'd let him go to free the wages up because let's face it Killie ain't got hee haw money either maybe they could give us someone in a swap deal but off the top of my head I can't think of anyone

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll tell u what, a can't believe I'm saying this, because I loved big boyd, but I'd just let him go for free, his contracts up in 4 months, so he can sign a pre contract with anybody now, just rip up his contract now, sorry to b saying this, but when we signed him, that league was in the bag, scoring 25 goals with killie, he single handily kept them up, yeah ok our teams rubbish, but the chances he's missed have been terrible, doesn't look fit, looks overweight, and most of all, doesn't look interested, I'd let him go now for free if Kilmarnock want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted exactly what would happen with him get him out door asap along with black and moshni foster and simonsen it shoul be a case of go and go now

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love muirhead in return, muirhead also a free in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Love to see Kallum Higginbotham from Partick Thistle lining up for us asap

think that will be lee wallaces last goal and maybe last game for rangers from what I have been hearing, really hope not could you imagine that back 4 without him

Believable0 Unbelievable0

By Lee Wallace's body language yesterday it IS his las game. Obvious he does not want to go, however someone else is forced out the door.
Bring on Celtic?
DREADING IT! (However crap they are)

Agree0 Disagree0

@1) I would honestly not be too worried about facing Celtic as they are not that good and with that defense they have, anything is possible.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2. the celtic defence gets mentioned a lot here in a bid to highlight how weak they are. however they have conceded 12 goals in the top league and scored 34. Rangers have scored 41 goals and conceded 20 in a partly part time league including 11 to the 2 demoted teams last season. I agree they are not great but I don't think Rangers can depend on their poor defence?? to gee them up

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Jan 2015 18:41:10
I hope Wallace doesn't go but I think he will . as for the Feb 1st game we are simply not good enough no matter how bad people say they are I am also dreading this! Scottg

Agree0 Disagree0

Amazing that peole keep talking about how poor the Celtic defence is yet they have conceded the least amount of goals in the SPFL, after 18 games only conceded 12 goals, doesn't look to bad to me and half of their back 4 been out injured for the last 4 weeks. Once Celtic find their scoring boots then they will romp the SPFL and they will take Rangers apart both in terms of physique and in pace. The window has just opened and I would fully expect a few more players to leave Rangers in the next couple of weeks to help try to balance the books. The new investors can do nothing to stop any of this and it is full steam ahead for Ashley irrespective of the decision of the SFA, he will fight that in court I would imagine. It looks like ther eis someone in the boardroom determined to balance the books, not a bad idea especially when another half million put in to keep the tax man away. again.

how does foster keep his place he is an apology for a right back every team play down the side he is on there must be someone at murray park who would be better at right back he must be the worst full back rangers have ever had on brighter note stevie smith possibly had his best game for a while and knows how to cross the ball which is a skill sadly lacking in the rest of the team
