Does anyone know wot is happen with Kyle Bartley is he coming back to us on loan next season or how much do you think he would cost us to buy ed? As I think he is a great player very good in the air . {Ed001's Note - no decision has been made yet, but I do think he is unlikely to make it at Arsenal as a first team player next season. So that does raise the possibility of another loan move or even a permanent one.}

Ye paddybhoy not often we agree on things but I too think Celtic would have gone on to dominate in these years if they had prevented Rangers winning the league. Obviously I'm glad they didn't and this would be where we differ.

Govan fr, i think you are spot on in near enough everything you say, However. I think Rangers are that big a club that someone, or more than one person would step forward if they were genuinely hours away from going out of business. I blame the Celtic board for not backing Gordon strachan in the January window in his last season. He wanted money to buy Steven Fletcher, but the tightfisted board, in their wisdom thought we didn't need him and refused to back him. I believe Strachan lost interest after this and it affected results. We do not know if Celtic would have went on to win the league with Fletcher, but i believe it was a massive opportunity missed, and if the board are totally honest with themselves, they must know this as well. Walter Smith must have been Kicking his height at the arrogance of the Celtic board, and he duly took full advantage. I think Peter Lawell has been immense for Celtic in every way, and i hope he stays with us for a long time, but that was a very costly mistake, and i am sure he knows it, anyway Govan fr, that is only my take on it, i may be wrong, but i think we could have been on our way to six in a row by now, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Picking up on something someone said earlier. Over the past two years we as a club have had no money. Through Champions League participation in the last two seasons we have gained approximately £30 million. Now imagine if Celtic had won the league in both of these seasons. Our debt would be even higher, and we would have to sell virtually all our players and we would have been forced into playing youngsters alone. So it does seem that Celtic have missed a massive opportunity to virtually destroy us, as it is a takeover looks to be looming and we are on course for three in a row. Credit to Sir Walter an incredible job and given the circumstances Rangers greatest ever manager in my opinion. I'll leave it to Celtic fans to work out where they have gone wrong. They must be kicking themselves.

The take-over is on. Wait a minute, no it's not. Oh it's back on. Then again maybe not. Even if it does go through you won't have any better a squad than you have now and old 10 at the back Wally is off and you wil be left with Sally.

Geez peace. C'mon the hoops.

The thing is it doesn't matter whether the takeover happens or not, but it will happen, just a matter of time. Rangers will still be champions at the end of the season, we will be on the champions league and maybe the septic will have won the Scottish cup for their first trophy since 2009, that's if the sheep s****ers don't put yous out in the semis, first time I think my fellow bears will be shouting Aberdeen to win.

Nae dough, 3 in a row.

In sir Walter we trust

When the takepver is announced im afraid its the death knell for celtic. celtics so called billionaires could not wrestle the title away from a skint rangers. how are the gona compete with a flush rangers. unless the people at the piggery dig deep into there pockets to compete with rangers after the takeover i see nothing but trouble at celtic. and if the could not supply the cash to over throw rangers these past few seasons why would they start now.

The days of celtic pinng there hopes of rangers having to sell there best players to have any chance of sucess are all but over. the bargain boy bhouys don't have what it takes to cut it against rangers. i can see a celtic revoult on the horizon at celtic park when the transfer window opens. to watch the rangers spend millions will tip the bhouys over the edge

It is all over the net that the Craig Whyte's takeover SHOULD be complete by and announce on Thursday. It has been rumoured that a £1Million fee will be claimed by Lloyds Banking Group for some 'Exit Fee' for paying off a Term Loan of £18Million the club has earlier than the agreed date.

This being said, a representative of Lloyds has disputed this, stating that they have not asked for nor do they have any intention of asking for any additional fee's prior to any completion of the proposed takeover.

Also, the only amount being mentioned regarding a Transfer Kitty is '£25Million over a 5 year period'. . I have no idea where £12Million has come from, however I would suspect that Mr Whyte will allow any additional Champions League income come the end of the current season to be distributed to Ally's warchest come the summer.

With rumoured transfers. . I suspect that some agreements will already be in place dependant on the takeover being confirmed, one I think is David Goodwillie. . I think will be in place with Dundee Utd already and don't be surprised for Rangers to start announcing targets as soon as the takeover is completed and expect Bartley & Weiss to stay next season. . If not on permanent deals, then definetely on further season-long loans!

How does this sound to other realists out there? ?
