So boyd is back? Is this good or bad, I think the old jobs for the boys springs to mind but will he really make a difference? I remember kris as a proven goal scorer but not really a team player very lazy unless the ball is laid on a plate for him to score, with him and miller up front the youth at the club will no longer be first choice unless they get injured. One thing for certain super ally won't have any leeway with results and performances it will be interesting to see how the team plays and deals with the more professional teams we will be meeting in the new season.
What do you think fellow bears

Boyds back and he's upset the sheep. Theyr fans are ragin, absolutely gutted he chose the most successful team in scotland over a team that's there purely to make league numbers up.
For that reason alone, i'm loving it. Others need t wind theyr neck in when it comes to judging signings before a balls been kicked, we needed strengthening, we got it. And we got it free. can't argue wi that, free has and always will be the best price, n we've landed scotlands most prolific scorer. can't b bad. As for youth, do any of you seriously believe that a team of youngsters (that struggled past a few minnows) would really stand a chance against this years opposition? I think not. So obviously we will need a blend of young and experienced. Think we need to sit back and watch what happens instead of jumpin the gun and rammin it down coistys throat. he's doing his best with nearly no resources and he's pulling it off as best he can. Makes ye wonder how some wouldv reacted if we never gained automatic promotion!

@1 "He's doing his best with nearly no resources"? £7million/year squad costs- the second highest in Scotland against teams with £100,000 per year total wage spend last two years. So really your statement to be anywhere near accurate would be "He's doing his
best with resources that are only less than Celtic but are 70 times greater than the teams he is competing against"
And £5,000 a week or whatever Boyd, Miller and Daly are on is far from "free" in anybody's language except the Super Ally Urdu on here unbelievable.
It is so simple really. No matter what Rangers do groaners and moaners will come out and decry it, for no particular reason than having a whinge.
I for one welcome Boyd, and no-one does it for free - that would be just plain stupid, so it would.
Can we all just enjoy the ride. Rangers will be back on top eventually, you just have to be patient - change takes time and money.
At the moment I think we have a team that could challenge for second place in the premiership. The goal for Ally or whomever will be to challenge celtic and win it. And with Souness waiting in the wings, apparently Ally's coat is on a shoogly peg, so it is!
I welcome the challenge.

@2 "for no particular reason"
Here's 3 for you
1 The best and costliest custom built facility for youth development in Scotland with probably the worst record in youth development in Scotland
2 Administration
3 Liquidation
Oh 2 and 3 will never happen to us - really? We'er too big to fail? Did you miss the last 3 years?
Nbear you really need to move on. You cannot change the past.
29 Jun 2014 19:01:40
3 x B agreed -let's just not repeat the immediate past- that's all I ask.
Nbear?
You are correct - the failures and inadequacies of the past should not be repeated, ever!
Hoefully the Souness story is a kick start for potential buyers to start being positive, by detailing their intentions for the club, and once buying bring in their own team and infrastructure, moving on those who are surplus to requirements.
Mickey blue nose I could have managed ateam wi macoists rescources and won both leagues his budget is probably more than the rest of division put together

@ 8) really? You think you could do a bitter job than our current manager even though you haven't been able to spell his name correctly in one single post this year! I would hazard a guess that you probably can't even manage your own sock drawer.
p.s. it's spelled McCoist.
@ 8 what has how McCoist's name is spelled got to do with anything? Have you been to Ibrox recently have you seen the dross on display- the football side of the business that is all Ally is interested in? The side of the business that is emptying Ibrox? Your as entitled to your opinion as wull61 but when did this become a spelling competition?

@9, if you are going to pick everyone up on their spelling mistakes you had better get yourself the biggest jar of coffee you can find and prepare yourself for a lot of late nights, either that or I hope you are an insomniac! Think I spelled that correctly.
