my m8 mcclymont works at ibrox in the offices, he knows eff all about football, he told me earlier a deal has been done for danns, the press have been told to be at murray park for 9 oclock

Believable2 Unbelievable0

What is all this about Danns, google and look at his record, he ain't the next coming. Let's all get a grip, not saying he is not a decent player but he is not the next messiah, Bartley who can play anywhere, and seem to love it at ibrox i would be really chasing.

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jun 2011 22:26:52
Guys, don't think anyone over the moon with perhaps losing Mcgregor. However if we were to get something like 9ml plus Cuellar and bought either Gilks[stick out] for 3ml [Swansea have offered 2ml] or Gordon for say 4ml it is a lot of cash to throw elsewhere. I would never knock Mcgregor but Alexander NEVER let us down and Gilks is a cracker, and we get Cuellar, won't say no brainer but a real option.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Gilks is on a free so swansea havent beid anything for him

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry you are correct, they chased him earlier, now out of contract and all the more reason to grab him.

Tomorrows back-page of the Record

DANN'S SIGNS UP
First Signing Arrives At Ibrox

Rangers last night completed a stunning swoop from under the noses of Celtic for Crystal Palace star Neil Danns.
Record Sport can reveal the 28-year-old midfielder has signed a 3 year deal with the Gers and becomes the first signing of the Ally McCoist and Craig Whyte era.
And while new Ibrox Director of Football Gordon Smith was finalising the move late last night, Ally McCoist's other top target Carlos Cuellar was preparing for an emotional return to Ibrox after the two Club's moved closer than ever to agreeing a transfer fee, thought to be in the region of £2.4m.
Cuellar has pleaded with new Villa boss and ex-Ibrox gaffer, Alex McLeish, to sanction the move.
McCoist now hopes to be finally given the go ahead to sign the Spaniard star early next week.
As late as yesterday afternoon Danns was still on Lennon's radar but Celtic had no idea he was set to move to their rivals.
When asked about the Palace ace last week Lennon said: "Danns is a player we've been looking at for some time, he's got a great energy about him and that's always a good attribute to have in your team."
The move will come as a huge boost to Rangers boss Ally McCoist who has been desperate to land targets to bolster his thread-bare squad.
Now Danns has been tied up and Cuellar may soon follow as the crown jewel in McCoist's summer spending spree, further moves are happening behind the scenes to land David Goodwillie, Lee Wallace and former loanee's Vladimir Weiss and Kyle Bartley.
The Ibrox Revolution has officially begun.

Remember papers in Glasgow get sold at 10.30 the night before they are sold in the morning so could be true just wait til tomorrow an have a look and see of it's true or not. If it's true it will b a good addition to the team and if not then oh well never mind

Agree1 Disagree0

Just took a walk down the 24hr garage in Springburn Road to see if the Danns rumour had been confirmed or denied, The currant Bun has nothing except a West Brom enquiry for McGregor but the Daily Record has got Danns having signed a 3 year deal and talk of Cuellar deal close with a fee of £2.4 muted in addition it states thatwe are making moves behind the scenes for Goodwillie, Weiss and Bartley.
I was going to go for a ham shank there seeing as I was already on the internet but reading that has satisfied the urge, better go and clean my pants yeeaasss!

Danns has been keen to sign for Rangers for some weeks -he will, but is obviously looking for a more inflated deal depending on other interest. He will sign for Rangers. Yorkielad

Hey ed have you any update regarding cuellar and goodwillie? Heard some talking about talksport abot new bids being offered for the two. Have you heard anything mate?

{Ed010's Note -No update on either I'm afraid. It's been reported that Ally McCoist has returned from holiday today and went straight into a meeting with Craig Whyte and Gordon Smith, so improved bids may have been on the agenda. Unfortunately, we'll all just have to wait and see if that was the case.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't get me wrong I think Goodwilliw would be a tremendous signing for us but what I don't get is that he has 2 court cases coming up 1 serious the other extremely serious and ourselves and Cardiff have put bids in.

Do the clubs know something the justice system doesn't?

I honestly can't see him moving until there has been a verdict for both cases.

Any thoughts?

Obviously he can move or folk would not bid for him

Answer this 1 where r the nugent drenthe and the obertan rumors coming from for the 3 time answer this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

{Ed010's Note -The truth of the matter is that I have no idea who posts what, unless they leave a name on their post or provide an email address. As you are aware, there is no requirement to do either and that is how it should be, entirely optional. So to answer your question, they are rumours and without source.

The entire football rumours website has recently grown to such an extent, that the site programmer's have started to move the individual team pages, from one server to another. I am afraid that I have no idea of what this entails but one of the many issues that can occur, are that "posts" can go missing.

Garra Dembele (accused rapist) was linked with Celtic last season i'm glad he didn't sign as he is a really good player, at the time I was joking that because Rangers went for an accused rapist so did Celtic because they always want our targets. Goodie isn't a rapist though, he'll tear Celtic apart next season in a Rangers jersey :)

Craig gordon is NOT a better keeper than mcgregor and anybody who thinks so must be deluded. Mcgregor is a candidate for the best keeper in brittain

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Best keeper in Britain from last season;

1 Pepe Reina (just edged out McGregor)
2 Alan McGregor
3 Edwin Van Der Saar
4 Ben Foster (impressed)
5 Joe Hart (was better in 2009/10)
6 Brad Frieldal (always makes great reflex stops)
7 Peter Cech (probably the best in his prime, but he has delined slightly)
8 Matt Gilks
9 Mark Schwarzer
10 Fraser Foster (24 clean sheets even though he never had many sensational stops he was consistentally average)

cant believe there are some idiots out there (a minority) saying sell mcgregor , gordons better, and that mcgregor has cost us a few games ( sayin he was at fault for the change in direction the ball took for commons goal) ... i personally would not sell mcgregor for under 15 million because a keeper of his ability wont come around 2 often he is 1 of a kind he has it all , and remember whos penalty save wi 8 mins to go against samaras kept us in the league that we went on to win

billyb

{Ed010's Note -billyb, can you please explain why the "minority" classified as "idiots", simply because their opinions don't align with yours ? In my opinion, we need to respect each other's opinions, rather than trade petty insults with each other.

'Mr Whyte please pay the 3m for cuellar the 2m for goodwillie and offer 500k for lee wallace if hearts reject come back in Jan!!! these players will improve the team and would still leave money for a winger and another CB. and offer whittaker a take it or leave deal if he doesn't want it flog him. he's not good enough to be one of our top paid players!!! '

Agree about Whittaker - Whitts, you're not as good as you think you are. If you don't like the offer, bye!
As regards the three potential signings I think Mr Whyte is walking into the shallow end. The selling clubs have jumped in at the deep end and they'll meet somewhere in between. I don't think he should just offer what they ask for. He obviously will undervaluate, they will overevaluate until agreement is reached.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Sell whittaker he is sh#t

Guys know one knows for sure but i am good friends with k Broodfoot.

He says its all positive at Rangers at the moment and Whitty does want to stay! Miller want to return as he was forced out in January and would have gladly stayed! He told me that there are bids in for several attacking players as thats what Coisty wants more than defensive players. He said we will only bring in 2 Cb's whith 1 being on loan. We are looking at 1 central player and 2 wide players with 1 striker.

100% certain Goodwillie will sign but Mr Whyte is just being sensible with offers!

We need to be clever about things now and not get into financial trouble but he said Mr Whyte has a meeting with all the squad to let them know what is expected of them this season! Both on and off the park lol Scary man apparently!!!

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I doubt you're friends with The White Cafu with the s**te Tattoo and that this is correct but I sincerely hope it is.

Hearing more and more of this trash on this site about how the players know what the Gaffers are doing re: transfers. They're still off on close season leave, so are we to believe that Ally, Gordon and Craig are phoning big Kirk at home to keep him up to date with what and who they're looking for? Behave, yi canny even spell Broadfoot.

Lets be patients lads the signings will come in soon!! Still 4 weeks till the season starts the window aint even open yet. If Whittaker is not willing to accept 20k (which he is nowhere near worth) then he aint good enough for the gers. I would personally have bitten Bursaspors hand off but he is a versatile player which is a good thing. Roll on July 23rd the start of the McCoist era. Lets all get right behind Super Ally as he leads us into a new dawn. In McCoist We Trust!!

I am dead against McGregor going anywhere for any amount of money or players, I have stated my reason on here yesterday, he gave us the title with his penalty save simple. However if he was to go there is only 1 keeper we should look at and that is most certainly not Gordon ( too injury prone, poor poor form ) it would be Gilks who I believe is also FREE - Ed am I right? This would keep Alexander interested and the 2 of them could really push for a chance of the jersey! Gilks is a great shot stopper- Thoughts Ed I like our inputs.

WATP - GDog

{Ed010's Note -I am in the "sell him" camp but only if it is an exceptional offer. I read somewhere tha Arsenal were rumoured to be considering £10m (cash) + Bartley + Vela (loan). If this were the case, I would grab this deal with both hands because in my opinion, Neil Alexander is an adequate replacement. How can we forget his value to the team during both the Scottish and Uefa cup runs in 2008.

However, if I had to choose a replacement for McGregor, I would certainly agree with you and place Matt Gilks, who is out of contract, at the front of the queue.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Must agree if they also get wallace
with papac a natural cb i would be looking
for a rb because i do not rate whittaker
that highly get a creative cm
and another striker and we are sorted

Agree0 Disagree0

Who was it that went on a mazy run against sporting lisbon, he scored a goal fro his own box by running up the fieldl all by himslef got us into the semi finals, so get a blooming life guys, i rate him

Agree0 Disagree0

We were already going through mate they had to score two inside 2 minutes, i think he is a good player but for 20k a week your talking jelavic and davis and i dont think whittaker is anywhere near as good if he is then papac deserves 20k too as he is better than whittaker

Agree1 Disagree0

Worst defender than broadfoot and that is hard 20k only star player might get that, sell hime and we will gain an extra 2 points a seaon as he will not be there to fall asleep and let the opposition get behind him

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the fact that the biggest highlight of Whittakers career at Rangers was a mazy run at the end of a game that was stretched underlines the fact that he is a mediocre versatile defender at best who got pulled inside out many a time last season, NO WAY would I offer him more than 20k thats more than fair and for him to allow his agent to say (publicly) we better offer him what he wants or he will just sign a pre contract in January meaning we will get no fee was the final straw. I can count his great defence performances in 1 hand or finger for that matter. I think he is good going forward though personally I would train him to cross properly and he would be a good Right Winger because anyone with a trick or pace always roasts him when he is at full back.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need carlos cuelar even tho he made mistakes before (own goals) he is still going to b great for rangers 54 and counting.....

Believable2 Unbelievable1

The guy made 1 mistake the full season give him a break, pay the 3m no bother we sold him for 8m he was the reason we made it to manchester in 08 all you heard was the commentators saying great header by cuellar or important block cuellar him and bougy would be unbeatable and maybe signing cuellar might persuade him to stay

Agree3 Disagree0

I agree that he is a fantastic guy but Rangers are right to try and haggle a little as he is in final year of contract, has no other offers I know off and has just had a serious injury to recover from. I would offer £2m and £1m after 50 appearances or am I playing Football manager too much lol

Edu is only 25, I think he can be a really good player at times, a part of me doesn't want to see him leave and the other part is that I would rather get Neil Danns to play instead of him.

Naisy Davis Danns Wylde

Sub mifielders (Ness, McCulloch) switch them about to keep squad freshness (Ness is a monster talent but Davis is a class act)

Some midfield, hard-working, skillful and fast and 3 diehard lifelong Ranger's, we're a talented bunch lol!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Really dont think Edu will get any better, any decent offer grab it and use it for someone like Wallace. On Danns you seem to be like many, rating him highly when if we are honest most of us have almost zero knowledge on him. Do you see any decent English teams chasing him?

I see we might be losing out on david goodwillie well you know we werent really wanting to sign him anyway ..he has some more charges to face and we could, nt take the risk of signing him as we could hardly hold him up as a role model for young people could we ?and anyway we back the scottish parliaments anti-bigotry stand and hope that the penalties for this unlawful behavior are severe we may even vote to bring back hanging..anyway he
wasnt the first choice and we are working hard with regard to bringing in new players so please just be patient we give you our word we will sign a couple of bosmans before the season starts ..just to make sure we can pay the electric bill in case scottish power have any further increases!also the board are considering changing our provider to get a reduction on our outlay ...it pays to be prudent....IT SURE DOES MR WHYTE...

Alright guys! Just wanted to say that I'm not in the least bit worried abouth the lack of signings so far. This is clearly the way that Craig Whyte does his business and the time taken to complete the takeover should prove that.

Alot of Gers fans are used to the way that Mr Murray used to deal with transfers, which was basically just to throw however much money at the team selling whoever he was buying to get them.

This is one of the reasons we ended up in such a state financially in the first place. I loved the fact that David Murray invested so much of his own money in the team but the financial climate has changed enormously over the past few years and it doesn't make good financial sense to throw money at the problem.

Craig Whyte specialises in buying struggling companies and getting them making money again. That's exactly what he's doing with Rangers. He will attempt to get the best deal possible on any player he signs in order to further strengthen the position of the club as a whole.

I think he will get Goodwillie for less than the asking price which will be good for Rangers as I can't see a player like him staying for the rest of his career, and if Rangers wish to sell him on then they will want as much profit (not taking wages into consideration) as possible. This goes for any player.

Come on fellow bears. Lead with your heads and not your hearts and show the patience we did through the saga of the takeover and I'm positive things will get better and better before long.

I don't understand all the fuss about Goodwillie signing, He's a lazy CF who knows where the net is - Sound Familiar?
Jelavic is obviously no1 Striker, but Lafferty IS better than Goodwillie as he produces the goods when it matter most, Naismith can play up top and although another Striker is needed to bolster squad I would rather have Kenny Miller, he scored far more in half a season than Goody and his work rate and fast 1 touch link up with Naismith would be of more benefit than another poacher. He is also experienced in playing in the European games and would burst his balls to prove himself all over again, not to mention his old firm Goals he ALWAYS scores.
Whittaker got roasted by Templeton in 1 of most important games of split he isn't worth £20k let alone more. Why dont we swap for Kenny Miller and use the cash set aside for a striker to buy a good Right Back.
Kenny would happily take £15-20k per week to return to the Champions, he is only player to have won 4 SPL medals in the past 5 seasons so get him back and lets see him and Jelavic up top together, the Fail fail defence would get destroyed.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Your jumping on the Kyle Lafferty band wagon now. Anyone who consistently watches him and says he's a good footballer hasn't got a clue about the game. He's hopeless and always will be.

Agree0 Disagree1

Remind me who scored the goals to win the title again?? Only 5 goals behind the so called lethal hitman Hooper. Give the guy a chance he is only 23 after all.

Billyboy1!!!!

Agree2 Disagree0

Im not jumping on the Lafferty bandwagon! I feel we would benefit more with a player of Kenny Millers qualities (hard working, fast and a decent finisher) in comparison to Goodwillie (good finisher.) I do watch plenty of football as I am a full time football coach with a degree in sports coaching I feel I am more than qualified to have an opinion without dafties telling me I don't know anything because I have faith in Lafferty.
I have told Rangers to get shot of him many a time but you are only as good as your last game, how did that pan out again?

I dont understand why they dont sell McGregor for 10mi + Bartley, use that 10mil and the 10mil promised by Whyte to buy the following players

Bartley (already included)
Goodwillie (2mil)
Wallace (1mil)
Cueller (3mil)
Danns (free)
Trickovski (3mil)
Puncheon (3mil)
Weiss (loan)
Obertan (loan)
Tonel (4mil)

That should help things along with money left over to plough back into expanding the stadium capacity

Can someone clarify if Andy Little has been released, it seems to be end of his contract but i'm not sure if he's been offered a new one. I think he's a great prospect with a big Rangers background. He should be given a contract and sent out on loan for regular first team football to assess if he can stay injury free and find his best position.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

He is out of contract but McCoist apparently wants to give him a new deal. Personally I don't rate him but perhaps a one year extension then send him out on loan with an option for Rangers to extend his contract if he does well.

Please stop panicking. Yes reject is coming up. We offer £1.5m for Cuellar, £1.25m for Goodwillie, £300k for wallace, all rejected. Do you want Whyte to go in with £3m, £2m, £1m respectively rather than negotiate? Villa have said £3m so maybe we'll get him for about £2.25-£2.5m. D Utd want £2m so maybe £1.5m and Hearts £1m so double to £600k or so. If the window closes and we haven't done anything in the market, THEN have a go at Whyte. In the meantime, practice what you preach, SUPPORT Rangers. WATP

Of course u would, gordon has been superb for scotland when he has played, ill give u the injury bit since the last season or 2 he does seem to have picked up a few but if he can stay fit then for me he is a better keeper than mcgregor

Lol well you mus be the only person in the country, the Scotland international boss included, who thinks this! Mcgregor is the best goalkeeper Scotland have had since The Goalie! No doubting on his day Gordon is a great keeper.... But greegs has won that battle hands down!

I hope you don't ever post on this, because if your rumours are as accurate as your player ability knowledge we'd be in real trouble!

I've read that Cardiff are after Goodwillie, hopefully they get him, i'm not a big fan of him, anyway, although Cuellar is a good player, i don't think we should go for him, he's out until Sept/Oct, the season starts 2 months earlier.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

It would be interesting to see who it is you want because you just said you were against Rangers getting probably the two best signings they could get, Goodwillie has only turned 22 and is the young player of the year for two years running playing in a team this year who weren't even 3rd in the league and Carlos Cuellar should have had a Spain cap by now I rate him that highly!

Whoever we get, we will follow on!

Agree0 Disagree2

There are better players (strikers) out there, especially on Bosmans, like Hemed but look what happened, Bothroyd & Carew, Goodwillie has too much bagage & blows hot & cold. There are also a lot of other good Bosmans for other positions but we don't seem to be going after them & in future don't have a go at me just because i have expressed "MY" opinion.

The Sun: "Cardiff want to snatch a second player from under Ally McCoist's nose after moving for David Goodwillie".
As far as I was aware you hadn't put in any bids for him and Craig Whyte openly refused to pay the asking price for him. It's hardly Rangers' god given right to have first refusal on him is it?

Rangers never spoke about money to Conway. So Cardiff never beat us to him. Don't believe everything the papers write. You should know that kevbhoy.

Come on £12million for Allan. I'd drive him to London myself. He's a fantastic keeper but that's huge money. Id be more than happy with Alexander and I'd sign cammy bell or Randolph as back up.

Rangers are expected to go back to dundee utd for goodwillie over the weekend with an offer. An an improved offer for Carlos is being prepared ! Danns and nugent are back ups so I doubt we will pay the wages there looking ! We may bid on the wanayama kid septic are looking at. Would be revenge on them for the amount of times they did it on us !

To the guy that said Gordon is better than Greegsy you are entitled to your opinion my friend but thats a riot of an opinion Gordon is another Boruc makes spectacular saves every now and then but more often than not makes roaster mistakes. From what i have seen if it wasnt for Greegsy Scotland would of been pumped in quite few of the qualifiers and if it wasnt for his saves well we wouldn't be celebrating 3 in a row.

I know we are not the richest club in the world but from what i am reading we are acting like we are the poorest. We laughed at Bursaspor for being cheapskates and offering so little for Whittaker, now we are doing the same to other clubs. In my opinion Goodwillie is worth more than 2million and i believe that 2million is a good price for him yet Whyte says we wont pay that. You haggle and pay a cut price for unknown gems but Goodwillie is one of the hottest prospects in britain so its not as if Dundee Utd wont have other teams in for him. I say step up and pay Mr Whyte and stop being a cheapskate or else lose out on yet another player because you are unwilling to pay an extra 500k for a guy that in 2-3 years time we could probably sell for 5-6 million. what do you think ed do you think that Whyte is being too tight and not offering enough money and ultimately making us miss out on players??

I know jamie murphy the well striker who scored in europe and has been pretty good is a proper bear! Maybe we sign him he is a bright youngster or get the rangers pedigree Tom hateley

{Ed010's Note -I agree, Jamie Murphy would be a good signing but I have reservations about Tom Hatlely.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I think if Whittaker goes, young Hately would be an option as cover. But we already have Broadfoot, Little and Cole who have played there and then there's always a loan deal for Hutton at the close of the window if he doesn't feature in Tottenham's 25 man squad.

I was thinking that Lee Wallace may be bought for the Champions League when we have a successful formation of 5 at the back, Papac further in for protection for Weir and Wallace playing the left wing-back because Fosters away home to the sheep. I think if we bring in Wallace which would be a great buy considering he's only turning 24 and just give him some games here and there this season to try and help his injury problems mend and maybe get something for Papac in January 'cause it's his last year or keep him till the end of the season and a massive talent Wallace our next left-back.

Would be a great bit of buisness and since they are wanting £1Million think we should bid around £500,000 would be some deal for one of the best Scottish players (when not injured obviously)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think the idea to sign wallace
papac natural postion is c.b gers converted him to left back

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think McCoist will play 5 at the back, hope not anyway 4-3-3 all the way. can convert it to a 4-5-1 when the going gets tough.

we are doing things wrongly whyte is new to this game but still playing the game wrong we are going to loose goodwillie to cardiff (only good thing for us is that goodie is a person ) we have been doing business wrong wallace is worth more than 300k and goodie is well worth 2mill if we dont go to 2mill say good bye to 4 in a row... at least 1 mill for wallace he is worth tht

Believable0 Unbelievable1

We need to be patient, if a bid from Cardiff is accepted by Dundee Utd then they would have permission to speak to the player, that's all. It's then up to him if he wants to move. Rangers would then have to match the bid with either cash or cash plus player loan which has been mooted. Goodwillie is apparently not motivated by money at this stage but wants to play for Rangers.

Is it possible that Mr whyte is the anti-christ and that the celtic supporters are trying to save the world with the help of the church and are really upset because the thought of rangers not being there to oppose their domination of scottish football would make it look so bad for them and they wouldnt be able to point their little fingers at ibrox anymore and it might even solve the unemployment problem they would all have to get jobs and become mature responsible citizens thus removing the bigotry issues and through time it might even improve or way of life as a nation no celtic or rangers think of it..the perfect solution when Scotland becomes independant..happy days...?

Its sometimes said "better wi the devil you know as the one you dont know" I think this sums up this whole situation to a T Ive never heard anybody mention if ibrox is getting a coat of paint or the loos fixed or the sound system done or the big tv s are being repaired nothing....No one is being told anything -speculation in the press is being silenced..re daily record story Whats going on?nobody knows anything...is this how to treat your customers?we keep hearing all the stories coming from people "in the know"none of you have a clue! it seems a funny way to market your product?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Daily Record story was removed because it was untrue and they were threatened with a lawsuit. That sent out a message to the media in general, get your facts right before you print, so there will be no more scaremongerer stories and half truths. Regarding the maintenance and repairs in and around Ibrox, Whyte has already outline what has to be done and has said it would be mostly complete before the start of the new season, apart from the new Jumbotron screens which will arrive early in the new season. I wouldn't expect any headlines regarding repairs, although you never know with the Daily Record on a slow news day......
'Bigoted painters caught Red Handed using Orange paint at Ibrox'.

Obviously as fans we like to focus on who we are signing but just to change things up a wee bit I was thinking about any young players that might break into the first team this year. The one that comes to mind for me is Ross Perry, he is highly rated and if I'm not mistaken captain of the Scotland U21s. Anyone know much about him, by the sounds of it he is the next Danny Wilson.

So, 1.5 milion bid turned down for Cuellar. 'Derisory' offer made for Lee Wallace. Not willing to be over the odds for Goodwillie (who is a fantastic playerbut may turn out to be a liability a-la Duncan Ferguson due to his off field antics) I for one am not concerned by any of this. It is early days and at the end of the day you don't make your best offer as the first one. It is a prudent approach and one which will bare fruit if we are patient and wont get us back in the same financial mess of the last few years. Keep the faith, Wallace, Cuellar, Goodwillie, Bartley, Danns, Davis, McGregor will all be in blue next year.

Fact: rangers lost out on Conway to Cardiff because they couldn't offer him the wages:rangers lost out on hemed because they couldnt offer him the wages:rangers loosing the battle to sign danns because there not offering the wages:rangers trying to buy goodwillie on the cheap , even tho he's worth in excess of 2 million.fact, any agent who has been dealing with mcoist and co will agree, he's got the brains for the dressing room, but not for the deals.was Martin Bain really that bad...... Time will tell against mr whytes plans!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I'm gonna sign for rangers, FACT, it must be true because i wrote FACT. So lets sort your FACT's out. Rangers never even made Conway an offer, we offered Hamed a good deal but we can't compete with the wages a Spanish team can offer regardless of how small a team they are and while Goodwillie is a good player we should try and get him as cheap as we can, not just give them what they want straight away. Everything you put up is an opinion, not a FACT so maybe get your FACTs right and get behind Ally rather than making judgement's on him before the transfer window is even open

Macregor is a great world class goal keeper, why would the likes of arsenal and other top English teams not be interested. I'm shocked sir Alex never came in for him. I don't want to see him sold but if arsenal put in a first bid of 12 mill how much are they really willing to spend. I'm afraid to say if they offered 12 mill plus Bartley I would take it. As long as Ally was given the majority of the cash to seriously strengthen our team. That's how we managed to get Davis and such as. He cost nothing so why not take it? Just my opinion though.

Really? Gordon is injury prone and would be on much more than mcgrecor. As a Celtic fan I would rather face Gordon than. Mcgregor

mcgregors amazing tho ye dont know alexander is good enough and maybe we can pull another mcgregor out the outh system ! we have two good goallies wen celtic have none
