The Celtic board have to be congratulated on doing a sterling job thus far. Had it not been for their generosity Rangers would certainly be in deep trouble. Who would have thought that they could orchestrate such a set of circumstance to allow rangers to complete 3 in a row. ( going on 4 ) and help save their city rivals.

The Celtic board have to be removed on the grounds of mismanagement. Had it not been for inept decision making rangers would certainly be in deep trouble. Who would of thought they could allow a club under such financial constraints to complete 3 in a row. ( going on 4 ). The chance to dominate has gone.

the rangers fans who are doing the valuations of the rangers players need to take a reality check . forget about millions and try and be serious. you are deluding yourselves. football manager is not real.

Incorrect, Football Manager is real, I've seen it in the shops, online, in adverts and everything!
As for valuations, I don't think it is unfair to expect to get back the same as you have paid for a player especially if they have played consistently, have age on their side and are tied to a contract i.e. Edu, Davis etc. Older players will obviously lose their value a bit and players that haven't fitted in will need to have their asking price dropped but nobody on here has mentioned silly money for any of these player.
I do think we need to get off the players backs a bit though. If they play for us we need to get behind them. Even at a base level it is obvious that we are not going to be able to sell a player if he can't get a game and if he does get a game he is hardly going to play well and be snapped up if all the supporters are on his back! Hell, the guy might even turn himself around given a decent chance and a fair go! Nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Its not about age, consistancy etc. the problem is the present rangers team is substandard.

Ok so when Jan comes here's the players I'd like to see leave and what I think we could get for them.

Edu £2.5m, Broadfoot £400k, Whittaker £4m, Healy £200k, Mculloch £200k, Kerkar 50p, Weir (release), Fleck (loan), Ortiz £300k.

That would give us £7.6m in transfer fees, get rid of some dead wood and free up a lot of wages.

Maybe bring in Templeton, Murray Davidson, O'Connor and Boyd and a few others.

Any thoughts on who you'd like and we could afford?

Had to laugh at McChins ambling his way over to Hampden to appeal Aluko's 2 match ban with the Sunday Mail under his arm as his compounding evidence.

Even with his photographic evidence admonishing the player, they were still having none of it......and rightly so, with the 2 match ban sustained and fat Sally sent on his way - job done! Get these divers out of our game, and that applies to players of all SPL clubs outwith Celtic Park! lol

Is it just me or do fellow bears get the feeling that Celtic think they are awash with money, they are financially rooked as well! Fed up with post about jellyfish going for 3-4 million it's not happening unless we get 8-10 million.
I would just like this tax case over and done with then see where we stand

I would just like to correct something that FF81 and others posted yesterday about Mr McCoist being attacked by Hibs fans, NO SUCH THING TOOK PLACE.
Nothing in papers or tv about it. This same guy who made big thing about lafferty's car windscreen being smashed yet failed to condemn the attacks on Stokes and other Celtic players. Oh and FF81 we ALL HEARD the sectarian chanting again from Rangers fans at easter road, but again you kept silent on that. Please condemn EVERYTHING or dont try and stir things. CFC 1967
