The Irish boy at Rangers is Alan Smith. He is an Eire Youth International and was signed from Crumlin United Boys Club in Dublin.

Brave lad when/ if he runs out at Ibrox. How do you think the lunatic fringe will react.

I don't know Sickbhoy but i just remember there being something about him, possibly on the website, that he would be the first Southern Irish player to play with the club for so many years. Think there was one or two back in the day!

On the subject of who i dislike most in my own team for me it has to be Lafferty, he has to be up there with Samaras on frustration levels. You know theres a player in there somewhere but just doesn't come out to play often enough. As for Eire players playing for Gers, it wouldn't bother me one bit, if there good enough then that's fine by me. I believe we actually have an Irish youth international in our youth set up so heres hoping hes an Irish gem lol.

I read in the paper this morning he wanted an extention, though hes passed it making too many mistakes and can't handle the pace all he can offer is now is experiance, personally id keep him but as a back up just incase kyle barltley is more than capable of filling in

I have been told that Davie Weir aint retiring after this season but will not be at gers. He knows he will have a decent amount of offers to choose from. This came from someone that is pretty close to Sasa.

I am at war with the daily star, b**tards print headlines about internet bigots, but won't even read an e-mail that not all Old Firm fans are like that!

SickBhoy {Ed007's Note - Probably only like to make up headlines}

Banter!

Having read a few posts re who you dislike the most on the opposite side of the fence I am posting on both sites the question - Who in our current squads do you dislike the most from your own team!

Personally I would never have brought Diouf to Ibrox - People who spit at someone is scum and always will be.

I also loose a little bit of confidence when I see Lafferty in the line up and want to slap him when you see him prancing about in flashy cars!

A family member who is a Celtic fan hates Samaras with a deep passion and thinks he is a lazy bassa!

Any thoughts?

Defo samaras, and I wish Brown would cut out the silliness, he is a quality player when on his game.

Breaking news: Glasgow Rangers have approached Strathclyde police after receiving threatening letters. A police investigation followed and the police has informed them that final demands are not construed as a criminal matter.

Re: I heard that once our monthly statement came in showing monthly charges for being overdrawn we wrote to the head of Lloyds seeking clarification! In the end we were told that we are responsible for our own actions and was handed a 6 weeks spending ban :oP

Probably Kyle Lafferty, even if he had signed for us, I'd still think he was an a**ehole, it's his attitude, flashing cars money etc when guys are working 50/ 60 hour weeks to have the money to get to the game. Nothing to with religion or that, I was never a big Di Canio fan and look at the way he ended up.

Interesting question SickBhoy. Alas I fear that it cannot be answered without confronting the old stuff. I guess the example of Mo Jo is a case in point. Ok he is Scottish, but to this day there are some Rangers 'fans' who cannot accept that he played for them, despite the fact that he did so with distinction.

Are there any NI or former/ current Rangers players who you wouldn't want to see in a Celtic shirt?

For me, the only obvious one is Diouf. And before anyone starts, it's simply because of the type of person he has shown himself to be. . time and time and time again. And for the record, I'd be delighted if he proved me wrong. .but he's got a way to go!
