This isn't straight from the horse's mouth, it's from the hand that feeds the horse. Mark Allen has already met our next manager three times this year, twice along with another director. Two of these meetings took place in London and one in Spain. The man they met was Mikel Arteta.

Absolutely no chance are they going to go for a man that has never managed a club. that's why murty will not be in charge next season.

Never managed a club been number 2 etc that's how steve clarke started num 2 now people on here want him so wats the diff every so called number 2 who wants to be a manager have to start somewer so why not de boer with arteta

Could be credible, given that Allen was City's chief of recruitment. Arteta know's what it takes to be a Ger and the demands of the club.
Arteta has had 2 years under Guardiola now learning the ropes and what a fantastic mentor that is to have.
Would also potentially allow a tap into City's reserves / fringe players needing game time to enhance their prospects. Maybe not a bad shout, but hard to see him giving up his role at City

arteta. utter mince. there’s no way we are going to take another chance on an unproven manager with no experience

after coisty warbs and pedro with mccall and murty twice also having been in charge i think it’s maybe time we start living in the real world and go out and hire a proper experienced manager capable of handling the pressure and expectation at a huge club

N. B arteta also left under a cloud citing homesickness then ended up at Everton . showed his true colours chasing the coin is that who we really want in charge when the going gets tough?

what about neil warnock davy moyes or steve clarke?

I don’t think this is true Arteta has been linked with Arsenal I can't see him up here

Arteta doesn't like the cold British climate, that's why he left rangers, but the ££s on offer at Everton made it more tolerable, no thanks.

He not a fan of the weather and climate here? How do you know this? I'd say he don't mind it that much as he has lived hear in Britain since 2002 apart from 1 year back in Spain So I'd guess he pretty used to it now.
