bougy is a far better player than anything we have at the moment.

Bougy is the better player yet the best bougy can do right now is the potential move to Kilmarnock, notice the word potential. the man is not what he once was.

Keirnan got a new contract recently.
He was also given the captaincy in the game Hill scored two I think.
If he plays on Saturday I'm going to be at Ibrox roaring him on.
If there's anything a player needs when he's not being playing well, it's support from his clubs own fans at their home ground. Even if he makes another mistake.

Thorn, you do have a point but your missing one as well - Kiernan simply isn't good enough.
Was a farce that he was given a new deal before providing some evidence he could cut it at spl level.
This isn't a few bad games or one or two isolated mistakes, quite the opposite, he's only had one or two decent performances in a rangers shirt.
MW seems blind to this.

boy is worse than effe ambrose the blunders he does is awful and his passing game is non existent .
I actually hate being negative but this boy is stealing a wage and bougy wouldn't ask a lot of money i'd give him a go put it this way he can't be worse than what we have .

Was at the Motherwell game when Miller scored last minute and Keirnan and Rossiter seemed like the most passionate players out of the bunch when they came over to the Broomloan end at the end of the game.
It obviously doesn't distract much from the fact he isn't showing a lot of promise in games recently, but the fact is MW likely thinks he's the best of the group we've got in that position and seems determined to stick with his man.
If that's the case then we get nowhere giving him criticism that is completely disproportionate to the rest of the team, who bar a couple of players, have not shown us enough this season.
No one at our club should be made a fall guy for our poor displays recently.

wont have to wait that long mate we play them in like 9 -10 days . and if we don't get going in the front and middle of the park then we will find it hard against them this season.
see when almost all of your team is underperforming and u still have that guy that sticks out as the worst of the bunch then that shows you how bad a defender he is .
I thought he was poor last season and is being shown for the poor player he is in our top flight.

Thorn I admire your support for the boy but he's never going to be a Rangers class CB in his life.
For all the Championship Clubs he has played for, no one kept him for more than a season. It was all short term loans with no takers. That's why he was willing to come to the Scottish Championship to play for us, his career was going nowhere fast.
Wilson and Senderos must be given a chance to see if they are compatible and if not throw the boy in from Raith or try Crooks beside Wilson. Any of the above would be better than Kiernan.
I agree that it's not just his fault that we are where we are, more the mangers fault for not strengthening that position as a priority in the summer.
I still think Wilson and Senderos (once he's match fit) could be pretty solid.

The Aberdeen game comes at the perfect time though.
As you say 9-10 days away isn't too long but it isn't this weekend either which might have been a bit early.
We have two home games we should be winning comfortably before then.
Gets us in the mood if we can get a good win at the weekend and a cup win during the week.
You have to start with Wilson. 100% of the time.
Tbh, how many games have Wilson and Kerinan had at the back together this season? One, maybe two.
But agreed, Wilson and Senderos would be the pair to go with on a consistent basis.

Thorn - 100% agree that giving him a hard time during matches isn't good darts. Whole team needs supporting at the moment more than ever. Off the field on forums is a good vent for frustration rather than getting on players backs in games.
I think he comes across as a nice guy, I just don't think he has the ability we require.

Kiernan isn't good enough plain and simple no one can say otherwise. His positional sense is poor, distribution poor, tackling poor and more often than not he loses his marker at set pieces. It's baffling how even now some people try and defend him. He is costing us goals almost by the game now and if we are ever to get back to challenging we need better than him.

I would only criticise him on here or to other fans, booing Gers players at the game is terrible. I admit I once lost it at Lafferty in a home European tie against some Dutch outfit, he just did one rediculous thing too many that day. That was a one off and it was that big eejit.
By the looks of it it will be Wilson/ Hill at the weekend then probably Wilson/ Senderos v QOTS. Hopefully we keep two clean sheets and the gaffer can at last see that Kiernan in the team equals a few goals conceded. He does like him though, guy must be unplayable in training but I've yet to see it this year or last, Celtic semi excluded.

Agree about kiernan he is not and doesn't look like he'll ever be rangers class. It's warburtons fault aswell for playing him when it's obvious he isn't up to our level. As for the aberdeen comments I disagree, they've only won one game this season. We are more than capable of winning at pittodrie. I'm confident we'll get 2nd place this season. Title a no go.
