The talk surrounding The Rangers is that there is a "big name striker" coming to our club. The talk on Follow Follow with the same blogger that posted the Joey Barton transfer way before it was common knowledge to my understanding knows who this striker is and has been contacted directly by Rangers not to let this name out. There must be a reason for that and I would imagine this transfer would demand a fee. I hope we are all remaining realistic.
Off the subject I think King has done some great work sins returning to Ibrox but I'm split with my opinion on asking supporters to travel to away grounds when these clubs couldn't wait to hammer us with all the sanctions imposed on us excluding Kilmarnock who choose not to vote. We have taken our medicine and I wouldn't blame and Bear for not wanting to give these clubs our money that we work hard for. On the other hand massive clubs should have massive crowds home and away. Personal instead of traveling to Hearts, Motherwell etc save the money and go an away trip when we are back in Europe.

I really hope no Warbs. He was a good player but he's finished now imo I think if its Crouch I wouldn't be the only one disappointed. I I must admit the names of strikers we are being linked with of this site (most of them are just rumours) don't fill me with excitement

Being totally honest with you mate it won't happen but I'd love to see us signing danny ings even if its just a loan deal, I trust our manager whichever striker he brings in but my preference would be ings, wells, bradshaw, griggs, campbell,

I can appreciate the argument, for not going to some away games, but I'll be going to as many as I can. I just want to watch our team. On the subject of a striker I just don't think MW wants an player like Crouch or Lafferty, even at their best, Naismith or Ings I could see just hope its Ings.

Would love someone young and hungry as our new striker, preferably the likes of Bradshaw, Wells or Grigg. I have every faith in the magic hat regardless of who it turns out to be. Exciting times to be a bear!

Please don't let it be crouch. We would get a year tops out of him and let's be honest he is only looking to pick up his wages every week. Not what we need.
I know it's always unpopular but I'd go for Cummings but I doubt we will ever deal with hibs again. He is young, fast, eye for goal and in sure the manager would work wonders with him.
Now just to sit back and wait for everyone to come in and have a go as to y it shouldn't be Cummings.

Talk in Liverpool is the Ings story is a non starter plus he's suffered a bad injury. I'm in total agreement with you I trust our manager no matter who it is. Time will tell. Bluepete that's totally down to you mate and I would never slag of a Bear for going to watch us its a touchy subject maybe its just me being miserable I just don't want to give money to these clubs. How brilliant is our manager but? he's just everything you want and expect from a Ranger .

on the boycotting of away games it is personal choice but I think we take a percentage of the gate for those games so we would be sort of biting our noses off to spite our own face if we do that.
as we need every penny we can get whilst we are under shitty retail agreements.
