I have been thinking again lads. (Might sound intelligent if I say enough! )
With what looks like the imminent appointment of Brenda across the city, is that a nod of acceptance to how good our Magic Hat is?
Celtic will say it's to take them to the next level, but wasn't Delia meant to have been the man for that?

Celtic have sat back and have done nothing for the past four years, simply because the haven't had to. After their skelping in the cup, I reckon they've realised that Rangers are back and back with a bang. They have a magnificent manager therefore we need to try and match that somehow.

So to appoint someone like Brenda, whose stock will be fairly high, can only be in recognition and in reaction to the simple fact they have some competition again.
So thank you celtic for giving us plaudits.
Once again, it's all about The Rangers!

Brenda!, brilliant mate lmfao

he will be a flop as well.

You asked a question, answered it yourself and then further commented as if the original set up (and answer) wasn't your own. Interesting approach.

I'll be very honest I don't see the attraction to Rodgers. he'll cost quite a bundle, and if (when) he is out done by the magic hat it will be a horrific failure for Celtic. Yes he has experience in one of the top leagues in Europe, this can not be denied. I just don't think the guy is cut out for the football life in Glasgow. However it would benefit Scottish football if he were to come. I still reckon it's all paper talk and they will end up with Malky Mckay or Paul Lambert.

Why thank you PP, creative writing don't you know.
Any sign of any 'failed' city traders you might utilise?
Or am I being obtuse?

19 May 2016 16:06:14
You walked into an empty room, started talking about Rangers - and then left, thinking/ declaring "once again, it's all about The Rangers! ".

That's not creative writing, it's the ramblings of a madman.

You keep throwing this failed city trader thing in. Why? As discussed before with BB, if you aren't going to

A. comment on something at the time of issue,

Or

B. Come out and say what you are trying to say,

Then you are just pissing in the wind. Bringing it up later (cold no less) and trying to be funny/ smart (who knows which) doesn't actually work. As for you being obtuse, it reminds me of the immortal words of Inigo Montoya:

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. "

For anybody wondering what Brendan Rodgers is like download the documentary he made of himself when he got the Liverpool job. It's like David Brent from the Office, only he's being serious. Has a massive painting of himself on his living room wall, guys a complete person.
I think he will be a huge, costly failure to be honest. Unless he signs Suarez, then he might run us close.

19 May 2016 17:54:17
Recbob-

Whilst I know you aren't normally bound by fact, a few things:

One. He didn't make a documentary of himself.

Two. I have zero clue as to whether or not he is a person, but you should do some research into why that painting hangs there if you are going to hold it up as some sort of evidence. It wasn't a commission.

19 May 2016 18:07:25
Oh I know what it means alright PP, do you I wonder?
The failed city trader was in reference to something YOU said on your page regarding our manager. Do you see the connection now or are you being obtuse?
Ramblings of a madman maybe but I'm only trying to throw a few hypotheses out there for a bit of fun or should I say banter, as this is what this page is called after all.
Now we may not be all as smart as you PP but we're only here for a bit of craic. No need to get all serious on us and I'm sorry if I can't repartee to your degree. I'll leave the funny/ smart to you as you ARE the man when it comes to that.
Though I guess I am smart enough to:

A. Take it all in good jest and not pull people up for a bit of banter.

B. Support the right team.

Anyway, PP let's not fall out over a wee bit of banter.

RSVP.

Circles. Circles. Everywhere.

Poetic don't take it to heart, any man who has a painting of himself on his living room wall, in any capacity, is a person. Take my word for it. Who cares who commissioned the bloody documentary anyway, my point is he is as cringy as David Brent, should fit in well at Parkhead.

It's not our fault every manager you's are in for has been sacked from their last job. That would do my nut in as well, can't think of it ever happening to us right enough. We usually go for winners, as opposed to losers.

Saying that you's might get Coyle, he's in a job. Pity it's over in America, after no one bar you's would touch him. Did he not reject you's last time as well? And Keane for that matter. Oh well somebody will take it eventually.
I personally think you should go for Levein, get him to adapt some 0-10-0 formation, that way you's can utilise all your midfielders, on a rotation. After a few weeks they'll all have had a game.

19 May 2016 22:29:28
Exactly, "who cares" about facts. Which was my point about you in the first place. You talk mince.

And what exactly is your point? Most Managers of that level would have been sacked, otherwise they wouldn't be available would they? Come on, you should know that seeing as your very own Manager was sacked by Brentford. Sorry, his contract wasn't renewed, cough cough.

Although I see he has now come out to say how good it'd be for BR to manage Celtic. I guess that's cos' he's used to working beneath him.

Racing drivers don't usually make memorable quotes, that's an obscure one. Well done TPP.

19 May 2016 19:57:44
And not a drop to drink.

20 May 2016 13:09:24
MW decided he wouldn't work under the owners conditions, even someone like you would know you don't get sacked from a tiny wee club hidden in the great metropolis, and then get the manager job at one of the biggest clubs in Europe?
