Every chance he'll go, we don't play with wingers and we seem to be after strikers who have strength and speed which makes me think the set up we played towards end of season with sakala and matondo up front was a blue print for how we will play this year.

Funny we seemed to play with winger when matondo was playing ??? and he definitely looks more of a threat down left side something I said way back at start of last season.
I doubt he will be rushed out door unless we get what we paid or just below.

I can't see it, lad needs one season fully fit to prove he can rediscover the form he is capable of, plus he is a RW not a LW, though he played a cracking game before his last injury came on as a sub and either assisted 3 goals or scored 1 and assisted 2, was his best game in a gers shirt to date.

Coldobert we have wingers in the squad, we may not play every game with wingers playing out wide, depending on the opposition beale will use wingers either inverted or out wide sometimes both in the same game, if we are playing in the champions league we will definately need wingers beale know this only to well, Sima, Matindo, Sakala and wright who ain't staying are all usually play on the wing, we can't set up in the same formation every game but as an attacking 433 wingers are needed say for example we are losing 2-1 playing inverted wingers, beale may push them out wide to break the oppisition defence down to get us back to 3-2 for the win, how many times were we in a that position last season, all too often thanks to regular defensive errors, beale changed the width of the 433 to get us the goals to win, hence him never losing a game in the league yet since taking charge.
Wingers are a neccesity to beales tactics that's why we will have a least 4 natural wingers in the squad this year, 2 per side to compete for 1st team spots and cover us for potential injuries.

Rangers will play a 4-3-3 consistently next season. Wide attackers will be needed. Sima and Lammers can play these wide attacker roles, or lead the line, which is great.

We don't play with wingers in the role of wingers. We have wingers but we play them as 10s or inside forwards not the traditional winger role. ?.

? People saying we won't play with wingers ? just because the position is not considered an out and out winger doesn't actually mean we won't use a winger in that position ? so to say we didn't use wingers is stupid pretty much like saying Kent didn't play cause he's. A winger matondo didn't play cause he's a winger
Just because it's not the preferred formation doesn't mean Beale won't have wingers at the club as an option to change in games.

To be fair gofor raskin could run down the touchline and put in a cross doesn't make him a winger, the roles our forward players are meant to under beales teams are inverted forwards which are supposed to be fluid and interchange throughout the game, on the team sheet there won't be a specific position as winger, tav and barasic / yilmaz in my opinion would be classed more as wingers due to running down the touchline, I do think we will go 3 at the back and push tav and yilmaz into the right and left mid type position which involves being wingers in attack.
