Just been informed that the Docherty deal is almost there but Accies are haggling hard over a sell-on clause now! I would seriously think twice before doing business with Scottish clubs again as they are all out to screw us.

Tbh I wouldn’t tar Accies with the same brush as Hearts and Hibs etc. Accies survive literally almost week by week, they know it’s an inevitability that their best players will leave them for next to nothing, so I feel a sell on clause is only fair as these types of deals keep the club going.

To be fair hamilton are entitled to 600k and a decent sell on percentage, docherty is a great prospect. I do agree hearts aberdeen and killie tried to take the piss, particularly when you seen how much walker and mclean were sold for. As for jones at killie, I think morgan at 300k to celtic is a better prospect than jones yet killie wanted a reported 1mil. I hope jones agent has told killie to pay the wages that reflect such a price tag. Given the choice, I bet mclean walker jones would rather have came to us. Anyway get docherty in.

I don't believe how naive people on here are, Hamilton live on a week to week basis. Hello have you looked at our finances. Hamilton live within their means and if it wasn't for a Internet scam they would be cash rich for a club that size. They are only asking for what they think they deserve, after all according to reports we want £10m for Alfredo. We on here argue that good is a outstanding prospect but not willing to pay the going rate.

They got done for nearly a million that's rich for a Scottish club, but they are still going. What I'm trying to say if some one ripped us off for £40m could we carry on? (saying we are 40 times bigger) . They got ripped off and carried on no administration, while we can't put a couple of hundred grand down for good . We want it all on the never never, does that bring back any memories to people on here

We got ripped 70m by Charles Green and Stockbridge and carried on, so yes. While we are on the subject, we carried on because Dave King and Co stepped in, the folk you're frequently greeting about.

We took in £20m in the share issue and about £20m each year in season books and sponsorship. We can say Green and Stockbridge were there 3 and a bit years between them. So at most we took in £80m minus the £70m in the swindle. So according to your arithmetic we got through 3and bit years on £10m. That's less than £3m a year and Ally and his team picked up £1.5m of that. Amazing how we run a football club with 50 plus players (first team, reserve and youth) paid the gas and lecky, rates oh and bought David Templeton for the best part of a million on less than a £1.5m a year. I’m not going to argue with you, your post is sheer ramblings and I don’t even know where to begin. It’s literal fact that 70m was not accounted for on our books when we were run bt crooks.
