Had a call tonight from my oldest friend in Surrey his son works for a large merchant bank in the Square Mile.
Talks have been initiated over recent weeks to formalise plans for early submission to Glasgow s Planning Authorities to sell Ibrox for redevelopment
a mixture of Housing, Leasure facilities and Theatre, Office space inc new MIM HQ, and for the White Portfolio and Scottish Govt after a referendum neccestatates more accomodation and a new 6 star Hotel.
Payment to H.M R & C to cover all outstanding liabiliies around 48 million has been calculated and ring fenced to allow Rangers to survive without the need for Administration and the deduction of points.
Negotiations to lease Hampden or have a share at Parkhead is frightengly under serious consideration or to build a new 40,000 seater purpose built stadium at East Kilbride will follow to cut back on costs further.
mR. Whyte is also to take over Leyton Orient rename them London Rangers FC and use this Glasgow operation to finance their development with Overseas partners to build a new brand concentrating on reaching the premier league and beyond without current constraints where Champions League is now beyond their expectations.

Believable21 Unbelievable37

Well done its a good tale but i cant believe they let u hav computers in youre rooms youd think all the padding on the walls6 would block the signal

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly. How do people even make crap like this up. Mate, seriously get a job as a science fiction writer you will make a mint. Apart from a big black hole engulfing the universe its got the makings of a classic.

Oranjeboom

Agree0 Disagree0

A 6 star hotel? At Ibrox? LMAO

Agree0 Disagree0

War r u on about mate. Yeah ok he is going to take over leyton orient and call it rangers fc the famous and historical club and name. U r either very smart or just making up a load of s&Ł?

Agree0 Disagree0

It makes sense we are out our depyh in Champions League where big money is . Whyte is a mercenary nae money in the SPL asset stripping is his game we will be a nursery for London Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Crack cocaine is a blight on our society.

Agree0 Disagree0

6 star hotel Harrods in Scotland and Harvey Nics amongst INTERNATIONAL BRANDS to be approched in coming weeks Im neither clever or a liar only reporting facts as I heard them from a knowledgeable source

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant honestly believe this p--k spent a couple of hours writing this !amazing! most have had his stepchild's help

Agree0 Disagree0

London rangers lol route to premier championship would seem credible
wtp

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard Tight Whyte was in the middle east this cannae be true surely

Agree0 Disagree0

A whole night on the crack pipe and this is the result... Educated junkie?

Agree0 Disagree0

So whyte just spent 3 mil on stadium to give it up and the band played believe it if you like. He has big plans to make Rangers more profitable but ive been listening to these crazy stories for the past 3 yrs and nothing has changed, WE ARE STILL CHAMPIONS and still top of the league so why cant we just concentrate on the battle for the spl title and getting 3 pts against United next before Celtic come to town. Ive never heard as much nonsense about 1 man in my life. Its becoming an obsession, whats he plotting next, to destroy the planet. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I also heard Roman Abramovich is planning on buying Ayr utd and renaming them Ayrshire Chelsea. He will only buy players from China then rename them again Ayrshire china chelsea.

He is sending his personal astronauts to mars collecting rocks to build a new 600'000 all seater stadium in Ayrshire. The stadium will be named Marsion park. HONEST

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sure peter lawell will welcome us into parkhead with open arms. thats as much chance as this story. celtic fans should concentrate on winning the league rather than dreaming of Rangers going out the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought people who owned one football club couldn't own or have an interest in another football team?

Agree0 Disagree0

OMG What a complete walloper. When did they start getting internet access at Carstairs?

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember all those stories about Celtic giving up Parkhead and moving to a new purpose built stadium at Cambuslang. No-one ever believed them but it turned out they were true, and it might have happened too if McCann had not saved them.

Agree0 Disagree0

I love these timothys coming on here when will the realise if Rangers go out of business what happens to them ???
no rangers no septic on tv money cause really other than the big to in Scotland tv dont really care bout the rest #4inarow you lot worry bout what lemons up to with your rotten mob ..back door into europe i would rather be pumped out .

Agree0 Disagree0

If theres an award for the person who can spout the biggest bull your mate has won it and whats even better is he probably wetting himself by the fact that you believed it. a classic. Pure craig dynamite by the way.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate im assuming you have drank large amounts of alcohol, sorry just cant believe any of this

Agree0 Disagree0

Some serious glue sniffing going on here. London Rangers, I thought that was QPR. I know Sellick fans are very jealous of Rangers, but this takes the world championships in tall tales.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to say this is the most fantastic story I have ever heard! Truly genius. In fact the whole concept wether you believe it or agree with it is just bloody genius! Buying a club down south and calling it London Rangers FC is brilliant, seriously brilliant. You know you would follow them!

Of course bulldozing Ibrox is a huge price to pay as well as relocating, there would be blood spilled over that. But buying a club in England and renaming it would be superb, certainly get your attention away from the majority of dross in Scotland.

Agree0 Disagree0

6 star lol lol lol lol this guys been on it all night to come out with that lol lol

Agree0 Disagree0

We are paying for years of dreams in the boardroom We gone from Laudrop, Gascoign Butcher Woods to Broadfoot and Edu its a runaway train these days HMRC can derail us for ever I worry

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats 6 star... i thought 5 star was max

Agree0 Disagree0

6 star hotel in GOVAN aye right

Agree0 Disagree0

I was really pished last night, just trying to remember if it was me that made that truly ridicules story up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this why no money been spent tax is cwhite priority

Agree0 Disagree0

Talking with my cousin works in Hilton saw Hearn and Steve Davis there about a week ago Tink Davis is a director at the O'S

Agree0 Disagree0

GUYS 6 STAR HOTELS IN ALL MAJOR CITIES 7 STAR IN DUBAI

Agree0 Disagree0

6 star hotel, what a knob. The UK uses the AA and RAC to star hotels and they only go up to 5... Scotland is also in the UK...

Agree0 Disagree0

Is life that bad for you that you need to sit and think of rubbish to post on here??

Sad, sad man

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers going bust is the only way that Celtic can win the league - my 2 year old could tear holes in that story, have a look at Google maps. have a wee look at the area around the stadium next to the river, there is plenty of available space in that area to build all the fantasy things you said, without the need to knock down anything - let alone the one thing that they cannot knock down because its a listed building

Agree0 Disagree0

Contrary to what has been stated here, Rangers do not own the land adjacent
to Ibrox stadium. It is owned by Glasgow city council.

Agree0 Disagree0

To whoever wrote this. Get a life you walloper. If you've nothing better to do of a day than make this s**te up you are a sad sad individual. I Durrant.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems some on here never got past Butlins at Ayr....................
6 star hotels all over the world.
I understand not all on here have an intellect (check some of their remarks and the language) This tax wont go away and unless these dimwits pool their dole money somebody has to pay
10,000 dimwits dole money x 20 years = tax debt

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems like there are some believers what do you think ed ? {Ed001's Note - it is possible but I don't believe it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If your friend`s son is in the habit of blabbing about deals that are, without exception, protected by Confidentiality Agreements, he had better start looking for a pitch in the Portobello Road, kinda quick! Mainly because, with such a lack of discretion, he sure as hell will be unemployable in the Finance sector. You have probably guessed by now that that I`m not entirely convinced of the cogency of your friend`s story.

Expect Ally to get the bullet in the next few weeks with Craig Levein being lined up.

Believable18 Unbelievable52

Levein behave yourself

Agree0 Disagree0

Guys I'm backing the manager. A certain Mr McCoist. Rumour has it he's done quite a bit for the club and at the very least deserves his chance. Europe a disaster but it's not the first time. League? Oh we're top of that. Some perspective please bears.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes Levein is coming to Rangers, right after Jose Mourinho takes a break from Spain to manage Hibs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey, theres more chance Levin will go to Blankhead Yeah, Wizard

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, if it is to happen it won't be until end of season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter pi**. Septic fan by chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sitting in yer wee hovel in a striped top making up dross Timothy

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye a can't wait pal. More 4-6-0 negativity to drive out any entertainment value the SPL has. From the beginning of time the objective of football has been to score goals (more than your opponents). Not in Scotland for some reason. It's all about damage limitation that would put a glass eye to sleep. Just get Jelavic, Healy, Lafferty, Hemmings and Naismith off the wage bill. Exciting times ahead bears.

Agree0 Disagree0

Scruffiest Scotland manager ever rubs off on the team and we have enough problems of our own.Class up and coming Continental manager required to play them at their own game

Agree0 Disagree0

Manage who? Rangers aren't going to be around for much longer. At least not the same Rangers that you know and love.

Atheist

Agree0 Disagree0

There will always be a glasgow rangers!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would whyte sack ally if he is top of the league.

Aberdeen made approach for mcfadden three or four weeks ago but he said it was his preference to stay in england...

Source: ssn

Believable19 Unbelievable4

Whats that got to do with rangers?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lots of rumours on this page linking him to us

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it was his preference NOT TO join Aberdeen. If us or the tims come calling he'll be here in a shot. {Ed001's Note - he always used to say he would not want to play for either Glasgow club, he never wanted the aggro that comes with it. Whether that will change now he is a free agent or not is anyone's guess though.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip. Now the transfer window has shut we're being linked with every player available on a free. Diouf wont be coming, mcfadden wont be coming. no more signings til january mark my words

Agree0 Disagree0

Mark My Words..... Hmm very unusual name you have Mark.

BBC reporting that the taxman has 'ring-fenced' a 7 figure sum from rangers therefore meaning we cannot use it.

So we have even less than we did before...I didn't even know we had a 7 figure sum left! {Ed001's Note - that was what I was suggesting by saying the club couldn't spend much until they knew the outcome of the cases. I don't believe it was HMRC that ring fenced it though, I think it was the club itself.}

Believable13 Unbelievable9

The way things have been going i am just delighted that the money is there. with the rumours going about ive been worried that we hadnt any cash at all. i would rather have our present squad than none at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte was aware of this bill when he bought the Club and the amount of it was included in the negotiations with Murray, so it is not a surprise.

He is disputing the amount of the penalty clause imposed by HMRC, as he believes it is excessive and is likely a few hundred Łk more than he anticipated.

HMRC are obviously not willing to wait (possibly due to personery influence at a high level) and are playing hard ball.

The worst they can do, is what they have done........ Arrest the sum of the total bill from our Bank Account.

this is Ł3m+ but not as much as Ł4m.

We already knew it was Ł2.8m + penalties, so we should have certainly had Ł3m put by, waiting for them-a-coming.

They cannot touch anything in our account above the amount of the bill + penalties.

So again, the worst that has happened is that they are enforcing their right to an additional few hundred Łk in penalty charges that we are disputing.

Let no Timmery influences fool you into thinking otherwise.

Agree0 Disagree0

They are needing to bolt . wanna see ma council tax bill. greedy barstwarrds

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong ed it was The HMRC who ring-fenced the money , 14 days for whyte to come to an agreement or the money goes to the HMRC , check bbc / site if you dont believe this. Whyte is trying to mortgage the catering services to raise funds! AS

Agree0 Disagree0

So why promise a Ł15mill war chest?

Agree0 Disagree0

"less than we did before" eh how much did we have in the bank last year then?

Agree0 Disagree0

They have "ring-fenced" the money in the event that negotiations fall down.

Agree0 Disagree0

All taxes will be paid in full, common practice to question penalty payments,Mr whyte will pay up,and we can move on and ahem!win the league again,ok timmies.

Agree0 Disagree0

An arrestment is standard procedure, though not good obviously. HMRC must be very confident of the final outcome to do this. Also what is the amount of the other tax liability re offshore payments to players all those years ago ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte has a top financial lawyer on the staff just for this case. he was advised what would happen by him prior to buying rangers. the tax bill is covered but as others have said the financial penalty would lways be questioned and appealed. the guy he brought with him is a secialist and they are hoping to reduce the penalty by about half of the 1.4 mil reported

RANGERSNEWS ,
The HMRC tonight have frozen 4.2M in rangers bank accounts until whyte agrees to pay the latest tax bill , this will effect catering bills , staff , and players over the next few weeks! Wonder if you agree ed , its fact .......AS
Will be in papers in next 24 hours.

Believable16 Unbelievable14

How the hell do you know the exact figures involved... If any sum has been frozen, it will not be disclosed.
Surely you have something better to do with your time than post rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Rangers Football Club plc (i.e. Rangers FC) had previously “sold” its catering rights to Azure Catering Services, a division of Sir David Murray’s MIH Ltd. A few years ago, MIH sold Azure and Rangers reacquired the rights to their own catering revenues. These catering revenues have now been sold, for the indefinite future, to a finance company called Close Leasing Limited, a firm which Whyte and other Rangers directors have had dealings related to some of their other distressed asset purchases. A piece of the family silver has been sold off to fend off an insolvency event.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its good that we have 4.2M in the bank then, think how much we had in there last year FFS i cant believe some of the posts on here, think before you type

Agree0 Disagree0

Its 2.8 mill not 4.2 idiot

Agree0 Disagree0

Except the fact that we could be going into administration, its a joke that the new owners are saying next to nothing about the situation we are getting more info off of Celtic sided web sites.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if its in the papers it must be true. spare me.
