Just heard that Leicester City have beaten rangers, Charlton, Blackpool & lpswich town to the signing of Christophe berra, Leicester will parade new signing berra at a press conference on Friday, berra has told rangers of his decision to join Leicester City this evening, rangers will now turn their attention to zaliukas & pandza

He has already stated he wants a move to Scotland for family reasons, so doubt staying down south would help. Hope it's not true though as I think he would be a good signing.

No media mention of Berra going to Leicester.

While this would not be a surprise it does kind of rubbish the press comment that Berra was primarily focused on a return to Scotland for family reasons.
Leicester is certainly not Scotland!

Blackpool have today confirmed they have joined the race to try and sign Berra. They expect him to join Gers though.

Been away. Heard we agreed to sign a very promising 16 year old from down south who Leicester were after. Mid-fielder I heard. If true who is it?

There goes the dream team. not! Good riddance.

I hope we keep shiels I think he will come good he's a decent player hope he's givin another year to prove his worth
Agree23
Disagree14
I wouldn't be too worried if Shiels left. He is a decent enough football player but he lacks heart and commitment.
He wouldn't be missed.
Given his wages I would be surprised if he went, same as Black, unless he got a payoff.
Cribari, should be ahead of him in the departure zone however as should Perry!

Wallace and temp as well if an offer comes in

And where you read this?

Hopefully. Both were pish

Why would they leave. They are not going to get anywhere near the money they get from us
Agree17

If shiels and black get paid off it would be great for Rangers, it would show if you can't be bothered for us we can't be bothered with them

Where are you finding this news mate I can't see it anywhere?

Hutton should be first out the door, he is hopeless!

Hate you so called rangers fans giving players like black and shields grief, black yes does get booked often etc but he shows commitment and aggression tht we like to see and in my eyes will be a better player for gers next season after a year settling in, shields was in good form till he got injured ain't his fault so get of the players back and start surporting them ffs WATP
Agree20

Agree about Shiels, but Black is a liability. He is one player that looks clearly like he expects to walk all over these teams, and when its going s**** he tries to kick them about. He is pure pish - get rid.
Agree8

I agree about black get him out he doesn't bring much to our team, anyways I still hd a grudge against him for what he done to big jelavic WATP

Morton after Robbie crawford.

One of our better young players! We should not be looking to let him go.
It is guys like Perry that we need to offload
Agree26

He is right down the peaking order now with the new signings, only Macleod will prove to be spl class out of these group of youngsters.
Agree9
Disagree18
Why would we let our fittest player go? He is the type of player that should be encouraged to develop through game time with experienced pro's like big jig/ nicky law around him and durranty coaching
Agree14
Disagree5
Crawford in my opinion isn't far off the Macleods standards from last season. Great energy and an eye for goal. Should be retained at all costs. Possibly a loan deal as there are more experienced players that will expect to play but should be kept and blooded into the team along with Macleod, aird, mitchell and some of the youngsters like stoney who looked promising towards the end of last year
Agree11

He is rubbish and it would not be a loss if he leaves

Barry mckay? he's the most promising

Look I've tried to post this 4 times now & it's not got on I have heard that Robbie Crawford is the pick of the bunch from the Youngsters. Let him develop next season & McLeod might be the one sitting on the bench the lad must have got less than 5 starts last season. With our new Fitness Coach saying he is one of the if not the fittest & most aerobic player that he's ever seen never mind out team so we seriously need to hang onto him & stop slagging these guys before we've even really seen them play!

He's definitely not rubbish. Why not get behind the boy instead of coming out with personic statements like that. It's no wonder our young talent never amounts to anything when people are on their backs like that if they don't play perfectly every game. (ERK)
Agree10
Disagree3
McKay, MacLeoud, Crawford, Aird, Mitchell, Hegarthy and Gasparotto are the only good youth players at the minute, and I do not know what Stoney is like
Agree5
Disagree7
How is saying he is rubbish getting on his back? He isn't good enough and did nothing special in the poorest league in Scotland. Nothing against the lad but every fan makes their mind up about a players ability. Don't ever remember anyone giving him a hard time last season and any Rangers fan worth their salt wants him to succeed. I can't see it happening and if another club wants him then we should let him go
Agree6
Disagree5
Lets develop him this season! Do u honestly think McCoist can develop anyone? If he wants to develop then maybe he should go to Morton
Agree5
Disagree3
Bottom line, rangers have to move some players on to facilitate new players coming in, why would Ally want to lose youngsters who are showing some promise and costing very little whilst holding on to some highly paid deadwood, get off the young boys backs and give them the scope they need to improve, they, above most of the dud signings of last season deserve at least one more season to show they are worthy of their contracts.
