Vladimir veiss saying he loves life in Spain lol what a d.ck and also saying Spain is in his blood lol he obviously loves everywhere
Believable7
Unbelievable8
Yes, he's saying the league is suiting him and he feels he's best suited to the league, he genuinely loves Rangers, I know that much.
Agree8

Weiss spent most of last season on the bench, apart from a quick free kick in the cup final, he did bugger all. He sits in the enclosure wearing a rangers top and suddenly he is a legend. He likes anywhere he can get a game.
Agree12
Disagree15
Is he but aloud to love any where else ?
Agree1
Disagree1
Why wouldn't he like spain the football is better, the weather is nicer and the women are fitter
Agree13
Disagree1
My wife would question that the girls are fitter, but your correct
Agree12
Disagree1
Look fair play to the guy, he came to rangers when his dad and others were telling him to go to celtic and did a job. he had pace and tricks and I for one would take him back any day. He left a rangers fan and wanted to come back but it wasn't his decision. He added a bit of excitment when he got the ball which we've missed for a long time. I wish him all the best wherever he plays.
Agree14
Disagree2
Seems some folk feel cheated by the man. Like an earlier poster said, folk are so easily swayed if they clain to be a rangers fan, or kiss the badge or say I grew up supporting Rangers, get a grip, these more often than not are s**te players looking to get a transfer!
Weiss was crap end off, I ask you all to tell what he managed to do in a season long loan speal that justifies the 'legend' status many of you clowns are giving him!
Agree2
Disagree6
Agreed. He wasn't really up to much. Bit of a one-trick pony who was easy for defenders to read - really predictable.
Agree2
Disagree1
To the guy who said "Weiss was crap end of" please take a reality check! He was very inconsistent, but at times showed he has absolutely awesome talent, so get a grip please.
Agree2

Weiss was crap end of, I stand corrected what I meant was Weiss is sh1te, predictable and I for one am glad we never signed him in the summer!

Cant get my head around this jelavic release clause, was the bank not in charge of us when he signed? Why would they give us 4 million to sign him and allow a 2.5 million release clause? It makes no sense
Believable5
Unbelievable9
He CANNOT have a £2.5m release clause - if he did he would now play for Leicester. They would not have been able to refuse the bid for £7m. Simples
Agree11
Disagree3
What a stupid post makes no business sense
Agree9
Disagree0
Same as above, no way he has a 2.5 million clause or he'd be offski by know
Agree9
Disagree0
Ok I know rangers board spent too much money resulting in debt, tax cases and a distressed sale to mr Whyte (Craig be a star prove me wrong)
But....
They weren't that stupid! Pay £4m and allow a release clause of £2.5?
Behave...
Agree10
Disagree0
There is something called a big team release clause what ppl get in there contract not saying everton a big team but premiership a big league maybe that is the release clause in his contract what ur views on that ed {Ed014's Note - I would seriously doubt if the buy out clause was so low.
Agree5
Disagree0
Nobody puts a release clause on a player for half the price they bought him for. Not even Sir Dave.
Agree4
Disagree0
Aload of nonsence just people stiring things up rangers aint that stupid and he would be away from rangers buy now if it was true
Agree4
Disagree0
A "big team" generally has big money (as this is the toffees we're talking about, both bigs there are pretty questionable right enough!). A "big team release clause" sounds like utter pish to me. Maybe a spot mischief making. If he wishes to leave Rangers will need appropriately compensated, regardless of where he's off to. That makes no odds to us.
Agree1
Disagree0
Or maybe Leicester didn't actually bid for him. Another lie from the Ibrox PR machine
Agree1

Your surely having a laugh, I'm sorry but a £2.5m release clause is un real. And what may I ask is gordon smith doing earmarking all these sh!te players

campbell
Believable8
Unbelievable2
Be better with bianca jagger. Why does a player with 84 caps require a trial, because he will be crap, like the other crap we are after supposedly. Whyte is a charlatan and the sooner this sinks in the better

Why do Rangers fans come on here and constantly slag Craig Whtye off? Can i remind them that there wasn't exactly a queue of people wanting to take Rangers over. As for the trouble we are in just now none of this is Whyte's doing. The tax issue relates to the time under David Murray and if anything people should be asking more questions about his tenure. Funny how he has just slipped quietly away and seems to be taking no flack for the dire situation Rangers are in

All i have heard is we will sell EDU for 1.5m! is it just me but money or no money if this was the case we are royaly shafting ourselfs! we bought this boy for 2.6m and he has been a 1st team player for the last 2-3 seasons and had 25 apps so far this season!
WATP
BIG CRAIG
Believable15
Unbelievable3
25 games to many thus season sell this clown he's rotten, bartley would be a good midfielder
Agree3
Disagree16
Bartley is not and never will be a good midfielder, he's too slow, and will never make a killer pass. Why do we sign a central defender and think we could use him in midfield, horses for courses
Agree10
Disagree3
The guy is rotten cause he doesnt have the reputation of davis who the fans think the sun shines from his ass. Edu is the complete midfielder on his day but the fan will feel the void when hr isnt there. Get aff the players bck
Agree10
Disagree2
Look at flo! £12.5m sold for £6m - THATS bad business. Sell for £1.2m, use that to buy tempelton, put McKay next to davis in MF and sorted! with aluko and wylde on the wings, we're okay!
Agree6
Disagree12
I am sorry but the poster that stated that edu is the complete midfielder on his day is clearly deluded. When will it be his day.
You clearly never had the pleasure of seeing gazza, Wilkins, souness, xavi, infestation, they could be described as the complete midfielder, not edu, never edu
Agree2
Disagree5
I know this for a FACT, Bolton had a bid of £6.5m accepted the day before we bid £12m for him. Another wonder stroke by Sir Dave
Agree1
Disagree6
You cannot disagree because it is FACT. I promise you
Agree1
Disagree6
It is Davis who should be sold not EDU, I said on here at the end of October before our bad run that Davis always hides in games something no-one can accuse EDU of. Davis incompetence is making Edu look bad, Davis has no mental strength thats why he didnt succeed in enland.
Agree4
Disagree3
I totally agree with the above post. Get rid of Davies. Won of the best displays i have seen from Edu was at Motherwell the other week. Dont get me wrong. he is not a complete midfielder and his pass is lacking any form of quality. But he never hides. puts in a shift and works his arse off from start to finish. I cant say the same for our "talismanic playmaker" who has made any kind of play this season.
Agree4
Disagree1
Get rid of Davis? what a load of pi5h. Davis plays for the shirt, he could have gone to england for more money but is playing for the team he loves. It doesnt help that he is played on the wing on occasions and that he has a weight on his shoulders as both the Captain and the ONLY creative midfielder. No creativity from Edu, McCullough, Bartley, Wallace (got to love his new silky step overs). Put him beside Naismith and we have a different team. Surely give McKay a shot in his absence as i'm sure he wants to show the fans what he can do. watp
Agree2
Disagree3
I think Edu is great in the midfield holding role, however when he plays in the same midfield as McCulloch that is when you see problems. Although i dont like admitting it Neil Lennon played the same position for celtic no frills, simply won the ball and passed the ball 5 yards to a man that could do something with it and he was very important for them in that position. Edu does the same for us quick to the breakdown point of an attack and a great athlete for the full 90, i am not saying he is a fantastic footballer, however he does well in that position.

Agree0

Correct me if im wrong but the info that these guys give out on radio clyde are they not just rumours also of which they have heard? i really cant see jelavic having a clause for that sum no matter what they said it also states in paper (roumor again) that we would hope to get in the rgion of 7.5m.
WATP
BIG CRAIG
Agree3
Disagree2
Buy out clause means any offer matching or over that must be accepted..but i dont know why anyone would bid over
Agree2
Disagree0
I read this story of the 2.5m buy out clause before and it seems its so very true ... it also stated that a further 2m would be paid after he scored 20 goals or made x amount of appearances...ive also heard jelavic is not happy with things at ibrox ..ie a lack of quality players around him ...also mark my words jelavic will play for everton before the end of january in a deal worth .............£2.5 million with POSSIBLE addons ....watch out for the undisclosed fee banner on ssn
Agree3
Disagree13
Means if the club are offered this or more the choice to be sold becomes the players and not the clubs. Don't believe it in this case tho
Agree3
Disagree2
Leicester bid zilch,zero,nowt,nothing,feck all.
Agree3
Disagree8
So we buy someone for 4.5 million, and allow him to have a 2.5 million buy out clause in his contract. you could'nt make this stuff up, no hold on, you just did.
Agree5
Disagree2
Yes Rangers don't have any money for transfers for at least 2 years before all our budget is spend on 1 quality player who cost £4m and they insert a release clause which is less than the original cost price not to mention it took weeks of negotiating to finally get Rapid to accept the fee.
Please don't talk so much pi5h he costs £4m has played well and doubled in value he still has 2 and a half years on contract left so why would he be sold for £5m or less
I think he will go for £7-8m to QPR or Villa as Keanes just a 2 month deal and Bent might b off also or even Sunderland
I think Edu gets a rough ride also but hes replaceable if we get £1.75m+I would take it even though he cost £2.6m as he has 18m left I think
theglasgowranger
Agree3
Disagree1
The chances are that the transfer fee to rangers will show as 2.5million and the balance of the transfer, maybe another 3 or 4 million will be paid to wavetower or some other company for fees, commisions or something to keep whytes money separate from money the tax man can claim.
there is some scheme behind it, he is not going for 2.5 million!

So what you are saying is your mate who watches Spanish football on the tv told you this? I watch Spanish football but I never heard this lmao. You are a day dreamer lol.
Agree5

We need jelavic alot more than we need Edu would be ashame to see the big man go never a whimper and had alot of great games, fake fans gave him alot of uncalled for abuse aswell , good luck to him if he chooses to hit ligue 1, jelavic WILL leave eventually though so its either now or summer!! Guerra is a good player though i remember watching him last season good feet and would score 20+ a season in our league
Agree8

Why sell Edu? The work that Edu does goes un noticed. He does the dirty work that nobody else wants to do. Everyone has got an opinion but mine is Keep Edu and get him signed up on a long term contract.

Why sell edu? uh he's rank rotten! while there at it, see if we can ship out mcculloch aswell.
Agree5

I do actually agree with u in a way, but Edu has been carried in the rangers team alot with the quality of davis....in my opinion, i wud rather see ness or hutton in there than him if im honest, and i think j fleck had an outstanding game against arbroath in the middle, one to watch
Agree2
Disagree8
Davis has dun nothing for a long time we should sell him him and try this boy mckay we would get more money for davis dont no why thoo he has lost his grit we need sum2 like ferguson tht will go off his head with the team if thr pish he doesnt say anyhin
Agree8
Disagree2
Rangers need to keep jelavic to win the league,he is the best player in the spl no doubt about it.
Agree2
Disagree10
Well for a start a wouldnt rate any player that played good against arbroath n edu is one we want to keep works harder than any player on park hes a good defensive mf and its the players round about him that need to work harder n create more such as davis, wylde, ortiz, alukon mcculloch who a wouldnt even hav in my reserve team
Agree4

You'd have Edu but not Aluko? Do you actually watch Rangers play? Mental.

where exactly does he say his mate knows this because of watching spanish football? u do know there is other ways to keep in touch with whats going on in other countries, u dont need to simply watch the spanish football on sky
Agree2

All Edu's major critics don't seem to post a name, what a surprise. Who do we replace Edu with McCulloch, Bartley? Two guys who have no positional sense in the middle. Ness? I think Andy Webster is fit more often than he is. About time Edu got the credit for the work he does.
GovanFR
Agree7
Disagree2
The reason edu is seen as a bad player is because he does all the mopping up in midfield. He does the hard work and the work rate he has generally goes unrewarded. It isn't a flashy position he is in but he does his job well and we should only let him go for a good amount.
Agree6
Disagree2
No, he's not seen as a bad player for mopping up. He is seen as a bad player because it usually takes him 3 touches to control the ball, 6/7 times out of 10 he'll lose the ball due to staying on it way too long or really poor passing skills, when he does pass it's never forward or angeled. What he does good he does very well but that's virtually never.
Agree1
Disagree1
Its all about confidence doesnt matter if its against arbroath or not, youve obv never played football yourself saying that, Fleck still outshone alot of the team and hes still a young lad thats hardly played, Davis is our best midfielder i agree hes not had a great season but still the best weve got in the middle by a country mile, hes not had any quality apart from Jelavic around him to play off of since kenny miller left,
Agree0
Disagree0
For a kick of edu n aluko 2 different players aluko is thare to create goals while edu breaks up play n edu does better at breaking up play than aluko creates FACT....
Agree0
Disagree3
I would just like to say that there has been a constant stream of players from not just Rangers but the SPL go to Cardiff.
Gavin Rae, Chris Burke, Ross McCormack, Kenny Miller, Kevin McNaughton, David Marshall, Don Cowie, Craig Conway, Lee Naylor, Steven Thompson to name a few. So yes Cardiff city, along with Middlesborough are now the famed SPL Snatchers.
How about this one mate, aye its a pain in the arse, aye WE want the players, but there are good quality players... fair enough they are few and far between... but they can cost pennies compared to an established player in england. If i was a cardiff fan id love the fact we were raiding the SPL, decent quality on the cheap and theyre in contention for a playoff place (again)

£8m for jelavic, no chance, more like £5m and Edu is worth no more than £1.5m.

I reckon if graham dorrans, an unused prem player, is worth 5-7mil, jelavic is easy worth 7mil. i think edu is worth about 2 million. if we were offered say 9 mill for the pair id seriously consider it, to be honest id look at 6mil plus a loan of a player til the end of the season, possibly with a transfer for a minimal fee.

The edu deal appears to be 2 mill but Gers still want 2.5 that was what they told this team and i think we could get them to pay it. Fingers crossed and only if this money goes straight to Ally!

Agree7

Edu has limitations but gets picked ahead of others because of his ability to cover the ground. Hutton has skill but lacks pace; Ness is too often injured so makes it difficult to build around. Davis looks disinterested and is certainly no captain. remember when he first arrived? like Stuart McCall - box to box. Up to management to bring that back. All players' form can vary but the effort should always be there

just heard from my mate, who claims to have a very good source, that rangers will have owen and saha on loan until the end of season, with jelavic going to everton for a fee of around 8 million. also mcgregor to arsenal for 10million in the summer.
dont shhot me down on this one its just what ive heard and it sounds unlikely but this is a rumour site so no "FACT" on this one.
my mate has told me things before and they happened to be right, however this sounds a bit out there so no gettin ma hopes up.

I can maybe see the Owen thing as he is surplus at United but they do use him when nessus, Saha not gonna happen as though he is on a cold streak he is the number 1 striker at everton and they like us have very few options.
I'd love to see Owen up here for a spell, as much as it would be good for us it would be great for him to be in the thick of it again, a genuine waste of a great player sitting on his a*se getting skelfs. {Ed001's Note - Owen is out injured and won't move away from his stable, his horses are more important than playing to him. Hence why he used to fly his helicopter to Newcastle training every day, rather than just stay in the area.}

Is this the same everton who are demanding a boardroom change cz of lack of investment? you really think owen would come to scotland? he commutes to manchester by helicopter to be near his stables n home life.greegs i dont know but can tell you qpr enquired but no offer wz made. blueforyou.

Why would everton let saha go. they barely gt enough strikers if they did. even if they did sign jelavic
Agree2

Is owen not injured? and what if he is one of them? he supports everton yet played for liverpool, bang goes you're theory!
Everton can't score for sh1t so why give us one of there possiblle goalscorers?

Even if Jelavic is not sold this month we still need another 1 or 2 srikers. I would keep Edu unless we get a silly offer of £3M (unlikely) and rather sell McCulloch and Broadfoot then hope to see Matt McKay get a run in the team as i believe he would be the difference in midfield we badly need just now.
