Seen him praised in a couple of posts, but have to say that Andy Halliday hardly put a foot wrong last night, positioning was good, decent use and retaining of he ball and could well have had a goal.
Not saying he should play week in week out, however I’ve gone from wanting rid, to thinking he’d make a decent squad player and the boy loves it at Rangers, might not be enough but he’ll always give his all.

Correct. Throughout our successful years there guys like him in the squad who bled Rangers but were maybe a level below the starters. When we had Gazza, Laudrup, then Van Bronckhorst, De Boer there were guys like Ian Ferguson and Iain Durrant there. Not on a level with them talent wise but lived and breathed the club and did a job when called on.

Ian durrant would have been the best player rangers ever had or scotland for that matter! !

Actually can't believe Halliday, Ferguson and Durrant are being used
as comparisons. he couldn't lace any of their boots. I loved Halliday in the championship but honestly i panic more than he does when he has someone running towards him. just one example, didn't clear his lines when backed into the corner and ended up kicking out for a corner. He wouldn't have been on the park if flanagan wasnt barred. Ferguson and Durrant were first team picks week in week out.
