Alves being injured may mean he has to stay. I would not be upset. He is a player. Not shown yet for us but is class.
If we get Martin we could play him, alves, Wilson. Tav and John as wing backs, mccrorie, jack, Dorrans, Morelos and windsss/ Naismith or Murphy. Pace, strength power in that team that would allow us to attack. Thoughts.

Blue89 - Bates was great today, no doubt. He is young and needs more games like today before to be considered a stater. Consistency is the key.

What games have you seen where bates has been shocking, alves bottled it really a guy thts played at the level he has geez a break . i don't know why i bother with this site most people on here talk a lot of crap slaughtering there own far to often

Bates has been a bit shaky and has made some mistakes but that is to be expected. If he can go to the piggery and perform like that I for one have no fear in putting him in anywhere at any time. He was immense and always did the right things given the situations imo. Brilliant performance and well deserved mom
