Has anyone seen the latest distressing pictures of Gazza? Was so sad to see him looking like this, probably the worst yet.
Would like to think the Club will contribute something if and when he gets checked back into rehab. No point in doing all of our other charity work if we can't help one of our own. I know he's had chances in the past and blew it but that doesn't matter to me.
The man was a genius, legend and entertainer for us. Wish you all the best Gazza!

Well said! My idol growing up.

Spot on recbob, was my hero and my favourite rangers player, imo gazza was the greatest ever rangers player, you're so right mate, gazza didn't ask to be an alcoholic its a mental illness in which circumstances dictated it, we just don't know what's round the corner for any of us, in our lifes we can never say with certain that we'll never be alcoholics because something in our lives could unfortunately dictate that, god bless paul gascoigne the geordie genius and we as a club should do everything we can to help the man, so brilliant shout recbob!

I don't think its only rehab gazza needs i think he needs something to focus on and a job in football would do that . once he gets better if he gets better i would love a club wether it be rangers, spurs, newcastle to give him a coaching job teaching young kids the game i can't think of anyone better to teach skills to kids . i think gazza needs a purpose in life something to get up for in the morning.

wouldn't waste our money on the lost cause he has become only a matter of time before he drinks himself to death!

I love the guy and was my third favourite of all time but we shouldn't be giving money to his lost cause.

You've got your opinion james stirling but have a heart for gods sake, its a mental illness the guy has, he didn't ask to become what's happened to him, anybody can become an alcoholic bear that in mind my friend.

Why shouldn't we?

I'm sorry gazza has mental health problems, it's completely ignorant to say all his problems are down to alcohol, although clearly it is making his problems far worse.

Gazza is like many people in society these days (with mental health issues) , I feel for him but to be honest those around him are the cause of most his troubles. He needs proper help not put on a stage for a bunch of fools to sing racist and sectarian nonsense.

I know what I'm talking about as I am a medical professional.

In full agreement with the original post. I do however have my doubts that rehab is enough for Gazza. I fear it could come to a sad premature end for him if he really doesn't beat his addiction (s) . Such a sin to see him the way he is as after he hung up his playing boots, he could of had a successful career in coaching and undoubtedly TV. I wish him all the best and agree that our club could support and help him in some capacity.
