I wish Joey Barton was told by Rangers to forget all this stuff on social media he puts on every other day he is saying something about other players or teams, let your talking be done on the park Joey if you can play half as good as you tweet you should be some player for the famous Glasgow Rangers.

The magic hat was well aware of who he was signing and is obviously happy with his character. I wish he wasn't so vocal personally but it comes with the package and he's not going to stop it. He does it to get a reaction and I'm pretty sure he'll relish having the whole league desperate to prove him wrong!

I am all for JB posting on social media winding the other lot up. How many wind ups have we had to endure in the las 4 years. The club itself should remain dignified but Joey seems to be pretty good in the art of winding up.

Bring it on is what I say. All sorts of people have tried to have a pop back so he must be doing something right. I'm sure Barton will show his class on the pitch anyway and shut the lot of them up, Broony and Frankengriff.

Personally I hope Warbs tells him to cut out his crap on social media.
Yes, he's a far better player than Brown, everybody knows this, so why give an opposition player an extra incentive when the two sides meet.
Barton is just up here to use Rangers' massive media profile and help his career as a TV pundit. He can call his horse WeAreThePeople and say how much he loves the club and fool a majority of fans but not all of us.
I might praise Barton's performances on the park but I will never like the classless man as a human being and, like El Hadji Diouf, I wish he had never been brought to Ibrox.

whats wrong naz he is just having a bit of banter its nothing to go mad at "yet" lol there is nothing wrong with expressing your opinion and if people don't like it then that's their problem its just his opinion and he is entitled to share it on his twitter account!
it is his account and the people that follow him its their choice, I think the guy speaks what he belives to be the truth and he doesn't beat about the busch and Scottish football has been short of real characters for quite a few years now this will be a good thing for Scottish football!

Sorry Naz but I don't agree. We live in a country that is devoid of characters because everyone is afraid of causing offense.
We need more character on the pitch and off it to generate publicity for our game. hopefully more money will follow to try to raise the standard in the SPL.

Just my personal opinion, I think the man is a thug and if things go wrong for him at Ibrox he'll happily slag us an Scottish football off.
I don't follow him on Twitter although last time I saw one of his Tweets he was saying he had no problem with the behaviour of Hibs fans after the Cup final. If he thinks that sort of thing is OK then it shows the type of man he is.
He would have got nowhere near Ibrox when I was younger.

He will need to be very consistent or there will be plenty of players and x players and media all over him but he's quite right with his tweets going to be a very entertaining season
He's got real quality and a great football brain the other players will learn loads of him I'd make him captain sorry lee.

Personally, as long as joey Barton does his talking on the pitch, I don't give a monkeys what he puts on social media. We don't own joey Barton 24 hrs a day people, the guy has his own time in which he can do as he pleases (as long as he doesn't do nything to tarnish the Rangers name) but I don't think slagging off rivals n installing a bit of rivalry is nything too serious. Get off the guys back n remember he, like everyone else, can do as he pleases in his free time. Ps, griffiths esp n brown have been getting Wee sly digs at us in the last few years, slagging the level we were playing at, and I didn't hear too many complaints, now one of our players is winding them up a bit n it's wrong to do it. Get a grip people.
