Good morning, and A Happy New Year to everyone.
Guys great result the other day everyone put in 110% across the field it was about time we won with the amount of times we have played them now and been all over them
My big worry is, casting back my memory last year we bet them going into new year
We fell away a little
This year we have a game in hand to go top but looking at the fixtures we have coming up, if and it will probably happen Morelos gets a ban whether it's 2-3 or more games I'm worried we won't have the fire power to put some of these teams away it's already proven this season it's Morelos more then anyone we rely on for goals
And that horrible sending off at he end of the game could really come to haunt us guys
I really urge Gerrard to go for a striker in this window forget midfielders wingers etc we need a top striker to fill the gap for Morelos who can come straight in and put goals away
We are going to need to win every game from now til end of season
No club and by looks of no referees want us to win the league the decisions against us this season has been horrific and it's damn well shocking it's being allowed to carry on
Numerous decisions not going to go into them all
Every other club is going to be trying to get points off us and the refs will carry on giving bad decisions against us
So we need everyone fit and available for the fight it going to be to get 55 this season
We're now in a great position and one it's now in our own hands to go on and win
With no Morelos we could really struggle to break some of these teams down that are going to park the bus
Defoe for me is a sub who can come on but not one to rely on for a full 90 mins every game morels could find himself banned for
Guys I'm not slating Defoe
I'm saying we need another striker to help him and get us goals we really can go on and win this league this season but not if Morelos is out and we don't have anyone else apart from Defoe
I also don't think Stewart is the answer either
This is way too important now to have ourselves in this position in our own hands I hope we get a striker this window so we can go on and win 55!

Am sure we will sign another striker (probably on loan) this January. Defoe is a great striker to have as back up. Think we'll manage fine if Morelos has to sit out a few games.

Thestigno 1., ime sure the club are looking for another striker, because ide expect alfie to get red cards quite quickley now, as the officials try to get celtic to number10, but i think sg will get us another striker, its not just alfies goals that win us games, defenders are terified of the guy, fact.

We won 3-0 at Easter Road without Alfie, how many did he score on Sunday, we have players who will get more opportunities, Alfie, and I love the guy for his efforts and his goals, can be selfish at times, three times on Sunday he could have laid a ball off, and didn't, I repeat, I'm not slagging Alfie, just saying the game opens up more for others when we can't always rely on him.
