Kfraser i agree with u shiels just hadnt done it would let him go in my opinion doesn't bring anything to the team just alows down play a lot and got another chance on sat and did nothing am sure we could get a player who brings more to the team for his wage.

There has been lots of support on here for Dean Shiels so maybe he will start the game against Falkirk on Saturday, but as an attacking midfield player. With Holt, Halliday and Shiels in the middle and Waghorn, Mackay and Hardie up front we'd have more energy and in Shiels someone with SPL experience who can also grab a goal. Usual defence but maybe with Wilson returning. Any thoughts fellow Bears?

Plenty of posts on here are fans of Sheils. As much as I'd like to join them I fail to see what they do. I just can't see it nor get it. He's had 3 and a half years to show his value and hasn't. Temmpleton, yeah injured a lot, in the same boat and they're probably draining the wage bill. I wouldn't risk Hardie starting against Falkirk.

We should thank Morton's Denny Johnstone for his honest assessment of Rangers after the match when he said we play wide, don't cross it into the box but instead always play it square. He's spot on. We're forever getting into pretty good positions only to end up passing sideways along the edge of the box. McKay can get us right into the box with his skills or should at least be cutting it back or shooting himself.

The Morton lad knows what he's talking about.

Really kfraser? Denny who? He should be a football coach if he has that much knowledge of the game, so why is he playing for Morton. On another day we'd have beaten Morton. Teams go through stick spells so maybe this is our turn. It will happen to Hibs as well before long.

DOIGER - whether the lad from Morton is any good or not is neither here nor there. Their manager told them how we would play and how to play against it. plenty people have commented on this, previously. They were set up to at least get a draw and nearly got a win.
If a championship team can see and do this, God help us when we play a team with some skill and attacking force.

Aw well let's just sign Jon Daly and lob it up.

@ bil72,
You are spot on mate, we are nowhere near as good as some think we are.
Very predictable and tend to over think things far to often.

Agreed think players and manager getting a lot of praise which is over the top. We are very predictable and we are starting to struggle against every team in the division.
