I get the “improvement†comments about only being 4 points better off this season and celtic being poorer. I think the problem has been when the performances have been great, the expectation levels have risen (especially given the euro run and old firm win) and we expect to see that week in week out and that's where the frustration sets in. I don't think its unrealistic to ask that however its all work in progress.

I agree. That's the frustration for me. You can see an overall improvement in the performances. I for one have enjoyed most of our performances this year, the brand of football is good.
However, our failures are not taking chances and failure to create clear chances at times.
It's essential we don't rip it up and start again.
SG has to be given at least another season to implement his plans. This, with proper backing in the summer should allow progress for next season.
3 or 4 quality signings right through the middle is required. I'm sure plans are already underway for this, as SG will know who is likely to stay or go. This means we finally get to a stage of planned progress.
