Why do some people on here keep saying things like "we need to sign a couple of players from Europe" and "lets get in a few South American boys"
We signed Emerson, Fredrico Nieto - South American - Rubbish
Nuno Capucho, Jerome Rotten, Letizi, Bo Anderson, Aarron Niguez
Why are people against good Scottish players for the mythical "somebody, anybody from Europe will be better".

It's easy to hand pick a few bad foreign players and make a case against signing them however you could just as easily produce a list of foreign players who have done an excellent job for us. We have a budget and I can't really think of many Scottish players that we could get within our budget that would significantly improve the team

There is nobody currently in the spfl that is good enough to impove us so hence the reason we look elsewhere.

Sebo123 are you forgetting that a big group of really good players we've had in the past were foreign? Albertz, Cannigia, Gattuso, Van Bronkhorst, Arteta, just to name a few. I agree with Bengy, you've just cherry picked some duds.

Sure you referring to Erik Bo Anderson? Because he scored like 15 goals in 20 games and injury killed his career not really the same as guys like rothen.

i can cherry pick 10 great forreigners to every one u say is a dud mate so why are u against this idea i'm not saying we need to get all our team forreign i just think we need something different

Not saying i am against signing players from abroad, it's the "anyone from Europe" as some sort of magical solution to how weak some of our current players are.
You say that for every player i have picked there are ten good ones i haven't (i think it might be closer to 1 bad for every good), however for every rubbish scottish player there is also a good one as well. Let's not think that Holtio will be any better than Holt (as an example) just because he is from Malaga
Surely the criteria should be signing should be "are they better than what we have", because surely that's what we need to be focusing on, not that he has 12 caps for Bulgaria.
Just picked those players as an example of some of the poor ones we have signed (Cee - point taken about Bo Anderson) (Stu-is-bru - Canniga was signed from Dundee, a scottish clubb)

Just to clarify
I am not against signing foreign players, i am just pro signing the best player possible regardless of where they are from.
I also agree with most of the comments on where we need to strengthen (although i think it's less players than some others do)
I think Callum Paterson offers more than Tav, and if somebody points towards a better player for the position, i'll be happy to change my mind
