Who gets to decide in life who deserves the title of legendary status?
History?
Supporters?
The legend status giver association?
I would say that the old expression of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
Many folk get called legends as it's a title that gets thrown about very loosely in my opinion.
Fortunately i am one of the lucky few in life who is deserving of my legendary status and i tip my cap to all the other living legends as it's not easy being a legend.
Long live the legends and all who sail on her??⛵.

My abiding memory of Tav is. A few years back in the quarter/ semi final? of the league cup against St mirren at love st. Rangers are winning 1 nil with 5 mins to go, the ball is going out for our throw in but Tav decides to keep it in, loses the ball,1 1.
They get a corner,2 1.I was livid at him. I know he has scored great goals but . Btw Gerrard admitted he under estimated buddies that night by resting players.

Legends are few and far between, plenty of great players who have worn the jersey will not be considered a legend and it's been along time since their has been a great player never mind a legend at club.

In the loosest of terms, Cheers, I would say that you are indeed a legend of this forum. Your tales of socks, shrooms, Thailand and other obscure stories, have kept us all thoroughly entertained over the years.
Fork's stirring of the pot, and need for love and attention is also legendary, so he can also consider himself some sort of legend. Not one most would be proud of, but a legend all the same. ??.

Whatsmyname, don't know if your memory of Tav keeping a ball in play is correct, but we were not winning 2-1 in that game at any point never mind with 5 minutes to go. We were 2-1 down and Steve Davis equalised with 2 minutes to go and St Mirren scored their third 6 minutes into injury time.
