Is there a possibility that we are replacing Thelwell with a new director of football and then he will leave by mutual consent?
This could already have been agreed to ensure continuity and less upheaval while the new manager settled.
I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say this is the case.

Honestly i just can't take any more of Thelwell i made my mind up as soon as he did that Rangers interview distancing himself from martin i knew he was a rat then even though everyone knew martin was bad choice.

Theres a chance we might qualify for the conference league qualifiers on current form, scottish co efficient has us way lower than previous seasons, with SG having us the highest yet, he was smart to turn us down even he couldn't fix us now, the clubs an absolute mess from top to bottom and it ain't stopping anytime soon with the current structure, wouldn't be surprised if the 49ers sold their shares and bailed end of the season, they may not understand football well but their understanding from a business perspective we could be a bad investment that will bring them little profit if things keep going the way they are currently
We just broke another all time club record most consecutive defeats in Europe in a row, 7 in a row, if we keep it up we can go for 11 in a row and set new standards as laughing stock of Europe, no one fears us now, how much the clubs status has dropped in only 4 years.

LaudrupHagi - I think second place in the league this season is Conference League qualification, with the Scottish Cup winners getting Europe League.
That said, it might be next season - wasn't really paying attention to the latest update.

They should of moved to get Davie Weir in for that position and Thelwell could have moved on. I think DW would of came to us as well.

Anyone who can win a header would be better than Djiga. Fernandez is probably not good enoigh either but he is worth a try especially in a back 3. Seems Souttar is the only one who wants to put his head on the ball.

Thelwell's job title is Sporting Director and we have a current vacancy and job description for a director of football. Funny enough the new job on offer describes that the applicant must have 7-10yrs experience at an elite level, so that means anyone with with 11 yrs years need not apply. This is possibly an error from who ever wrote the conditions but very unprofessional none the less.
I wonder how many years experience was needed to employ Kevin's 26yr old son in his position that the club never even announced? That position was not advertised and such a great stroke of luck for Kevin's son. He has zero things on his CV to suggest that he should have been employed in this position. Just lucky for Robbie that it was his dads mate (Purdy) who his dad employed that recommended him to Kevin.
Don't laugh folks as i know this sounds like a comedy sketch but this is reality and where we as a football club currently stand.

We belong in European competitions and of course the finacial aspect helps with improving the team, well it will once failwells gone.

I was born in Gorgie on smithfield street right next to the stadium a while ago lol, know the area like the back on my hand.
My Grandad used to have a flat over looking the stadium back in the early 70s and would hold me up to watch the games with him for free fae the living room window when i was a bairn, though i chose Rangers when i grew up hahaha.
