Interesting reports online why we signed Chermiti. Surely not if so good bye Thelwell.
05 Nov 2025 17:19:05
Davie can you gives us a wee update as to why please.
05 Nov 2025 17:26:02
Care to spill? Why so cryptic?
05 Nov 2025 17:28:55
Can you elaborate for those who haven't seen anything.
05 Nov 2025 17:41:44
Just read the piece tere. It's a strange situation but I can't see cavanagh sanctioning 10m from his business as a favour to another buisness associate which is what the article implies and i'd hope at the next fans meeting that question was asked.
05 Nov 2025 18:02:42
Haven't stumbled across anything, what are they saying?!?
05 Nov 2025 18:15:24
What are the reports davie?
05 Nov 2025 18:27:23
Yeah its Ibrox noise and they can't back up what they have posted. Their own words. You can see he clearly has ability and i personally believe he will come good. The problem we have is we have 2 good games then some fans have a buzz in them i see the talent the improvement is there.
We then lose and the dummies are spat out again and they blame all the players. Its actually quite hilarious to be honest.
05 Nov 2025 18:41:18
John its basically a piece by Ibrox noise i'm sure that questions Chermiti signing because his agents are partners with 49s. They insinuate Thelwell and 49s signed Chermiti as a favour to his agents whose name escapes me.
05 Nov 2025 19:05:34
I posted the link to 49ers and CAA a few weeks back, Stevie G new reaffirmed it a couple of times since, Thorntonsuite assured us they are not owned by 49ers, they have partnered on a few different deals, was discussed yesterday on here, they have probably lifted from here.
05 Nov 2025 19:08:44
Thornton suites post below
04 Nov 2025 16:50:21
Chermiti's agency, CAAStellar, isn't owned by the 49ers, the owner is Groupe Artémis, the investment company of French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, which acquired a majority stake in 2023. However, the 49ers, through their Elevate Sports Venture arm, have an interest in CAA but are not the owners.
05 Nov 2025 19:17:27
No wonder you didn't mention where you saw this. Ibrox Noise just writes garbage all the time.
05 Nov 2025 19:27:24
Kirkcaldy Loyal, are you watching the same Chermiti as the rest of us? Clearly see he has ability?! Deary me. i'd love him to come good but there's not a chance he has what it takes to cut the mustard at Ibrox.
05 Nov 2025 20:09:51
Don't believe anything from Ibrox news. Kirkcaldy honestly haven't seen anything to suggest Chermiti will be any good. I'd have him as 4th choice out of our 3 strikers.
05 Nov 2025 20:38:43
Of course no one can back up that the players has ability as i's very well hidden if there is any. Thelwell signed Fabio Silva for Wolves and cost them a lot of money he paid £15m for Djiga then we paid a large loan amount, he signed Fernandez from his mate Barry Fry and nobody will select him, Martin, Smith as interim and now Rohl, of course it all stinks but the owners are not bright enough to see it.
05 Nov 2025 21:17:31
Imagine supporting Rangers.
05 Nov 2025 21:22:56
Let's be honest, he's pretty bad.
05 Nov 2025 21:58:43
The owners ain't bright enough, but have made billions in business, Vernon you're clearly bright enough, wouldn't like too see your bank account.
05 Nov 2025 22:28:19
Yeah all the people who have selected him for all ages at international level. The pros that brought him through at sporting lisbon all know less than the experts who think he is mince after a quarter of a season. I've seen world class players have slower starts at new clubs. I've seen clubs say world class players aren't good enough example united saying no to haland when ole was there.
Stop judging after a run of bad games. I personally have seen flashes of quality. For example the derby there yes he missed 3 good chances but his movement was spot on. When he starts putting them away and builds confidence he will come good. I won't judge him after a quarter of a season. Glad to see so many people who probably never got past amatuer level judge a lad who has made it to pro.
06 Nov 2025 07:22:51
Why everybody saying Ibrox noise, it wasn't them who I seen it from. Maybe they just re posted it later ?♂️.
06 Nov 2025 07:54:59
Genuine question for you KirkcaldyLoyal,
How long do we need ro give Chermiti before we can make a true judgement on his abilities?
06 Nov 2025 09:46:12
Fair play Kircaldy, I'll give him time too, the amount of players over the years that fans think aren't Rangers class after half a dozen or even more games is embarrassing. What do people think is the class our league should be attracting?
Sima, Cerny, Raskin, Diallo, Lundstrum to name a few, all slated at one point.
Do I need to mention igamane after a few games last year or Dessers, apparently the worst Rangers Striker in history at one point?

My Star, the owners are not bright enough in a football sense. they may be great in business which they clearly are but their lack of football knowledge is there for all to see. They thought bringing in Thelwell as Sporting Director would give them someone with the skills they lack to run that side of things but they clearly got the wrong man.
They need to change course and get a DOF and a CEO who understand Rangers and Scottish football and rebuild from there.

Foolmonty certainly not in the timeframe he has been here so far. It really is embaressing say we sell him and get someone else in and he scores 1 in 6 do we sell him and start again? I say no its getting pathetic if we keep on doing that. Look at Miovski he gets zero stick and cost what 4-5 million? He is in my opinion worse than Chermiti but i hope its also just a slow start as we seen what he can do at aberdeen.
I say get behind the lads give them confidence boost morale. To many supporters put most players down constantly and no one would like that in life they are human beings.
06 Nov 2025 15:05:20
I also believe he will come good, when Rangers start playing with more pace and intensity, the goals will come.
06 Nov 2025 19:28:31
I hear what your saying Kirkcaldy and TT but I'm not convinced. Hopefully he'll come good, sooner rather than later.
