As much as I like PC I fear if certain players are still here nxt season it will cost him his job and I believe he knows this but depending on funds for the summer window he will be stuck with them.
Gio, Beale and now PC, these players have got managers sacked and will again if they are not shipped out.
Really hope the rumour of Gerrard wanting tav is true, he is on the wrong side of 30 and it be best to cash in now as for the others we need to move them on.

It doesn't matter how good the manager is (although PC has been culpable recently with his starting 11), but If you have the same players, making the same mistakes, with limited funds to replace them, then what can he do?
You know my thoughts on this season (shock, horror, how can I be a real "supporter"), but without CL money, then PC has one helluva job on his hands.

it is a real mystery that anyone would believe anyone would want to pay big money for tav, unless its in sandylands, much the same as kent and alf he simply isn't good enough for clubs to pay big money, he lacks what is required, i never for one second believed a french club offered 18m for alf, i knew he is way way short of quality for that type of money, no matter that some fell for a french chairmans nonsense, kent was like a runaway dodgem, and tav hiots a lovely free kick sometimes but can't do his job, we have been seriously short of real quality for many years now, thus the titles we've won compared to the other lot, i know they would laugh at kent and alf, i couldn't disagree, i think pc will now know how short of quality his team is and truthfully its a miracle he got this close, but, he's in real danger of throwing it all away wioth team selection at this serious stage, he must find his best team again and stick with it, if your going to introduce matondo then give him time to find his feet, not a few minutes here and there, and he must instruct his defence to act like rangers defenders.

PC can only go with what he has and thanks to historical poor acquisitions over a number of years we have one of the poorest squads imaginable.
I'm not making excuses based on injuries although our fitness levels have clearly not helped however we can only truly pass judgement on PC when he has a close season to bring in his own players and even then only if he is given a serious transfer budget to play with.
I have to believe that a manager of Clements' stature would not have agreed to join us without some guarantees in terms of future acquisitions and especially with the rag tag squad that he inherited. Let's see what happens in the summer.
We are very fortunate that a number of the perennial failures will leave at end of contract, the question is whether we can significantly upgrade the standard of player that comes in.

same when some said kent was a 25m player and alf could only start talking at 30m, we were on a journey back, we didn't possess players of that type of quality, but we did have enough for scotland, they performed once in the bread n butter in an empty stadium season with zero opposition, but at least we had come back, we cannot stall now because there's plenty left to play for, return without 3 points on weds and tav and co can leave now, because their kudos will have evaporated.

Still amazes me we knocked back 16m for morelos. Some of the decisions we make as a club is mental.
