Davis and Bougherra aloud to leave for free in the summer as they are in the 4th year of their contracts. Half of the squad are going to be leaving anyway as most of them are loans. The take-over is a faint dream, chance of it happening, but realistically not going to happen, any time soon anyway. And the trophies on its way to paradise! . What aload of sh*te you talk. Ye i know what your saying Billyboy but that's the way we have played against Celtic recently and it hasnt really worked. Maybe if we get more people around Jelavic it will be a bit more successful. Heres hoping Diouf can get in about them too, hes due a wee goal celebration against them lol.

I never said about long balls into Jelavic, long balls to El Hadj knocking them on to Jelavic. Telling you high balls down their left, that wee Izagurrie(spelling)canny handle it. Anybody watch the motherwell game. They got in behind them that way all day long. Billyboy

You're prob right Baz bear we will go 4-5-1, but we have been outfoxed the last 3 times playing that formation against Celtic, i hope Walter changes things tomorrow. only 4 mids mean that Barkley can go to CB, that also means Big Bogie can do his trademark runs forward knowing there is someone behind him with a bit of pace. Fingers crossed no matter wot the formation we will hump them.

Think its a cert to be 4-5-1 but i don't agree that we should be playing long balls up to Jelavic, hes a better player on the deck than in the air. Fancy Walter for one his wee surprises tomorrow with possibly Wylde wide left, especially with no Weiss or Naisy. Think the key to the game is making sure Izaguirre doesn't get the run of the left hand side and we get in and about Kayal cos hes bullied our midfield in last 3 OF games. Would even get Edu to shadow him all over the park, he must be able to do that surely. Would prefer Bartley in beside Bougherra but i think we need him in midfield just now. Also think Fleck and Healy to play a part later if things not going to plan. My team would be

We always seem to play better at parkhead and I think we should go with the 4-5-1 and NOT take the game to them. We seem to play better when we let the other team try to break us down and hit on the break. I would have El Hadj just playing off Jelavic and play lots of long cross field passes for him to win knockdowns as the Celtic fullbacks are not good in the air and then we may force a gap between their CB as they try to cope. Telling you long balls into the channels, Celtic will not be able to handle it. I know its not pretty but it will work. Billyboy(the original)lol

Also might add that i hope Barkley get's the nod ahead of Weir, To be honest he cost us a couple against Celtic last time and one against Sporting. Know he has been a good servant but these games are just to fast for him.

Your right C-Bear85 the midfield has been non- exsitent in the previous 3 old firm games. We need someone up there with big Jela he was isolated too often in that last old firm. Hoping for a bit more fight from the lads this time maybe get a victory. Fingers crossed.WATP.

Am not to confident Billyboy1, if we go 4-5-1 think we might get pummeled again, it's just that the midfield tends to get cut out in these games. Would like to see Big Jelly and El Haj in a 4-4-2 with Davis and Whittiker having a go. if we go 4-4-2 think we might win 2-1.
