Mr Green is in a tricky situation with regard McCoist, how can he sack a club legend? and yet with every sub standard performance more and more people are saying enough is enough, how bad will it have to get before he sacks him?

Charles Green has mentioned the 'B' world and guess what, all the 'Offended Brigade' jump out of the woodwork. Funny when it's to do with Rangers, a big issue is made of it attacking the individual who said it. Fans of other clubs have been bigoted towards us, it happens all the time, it's been all over these pages for the last few months, so all of a sudden the sanctimonious ones are screaming foul play because Charles Green has stated the obvious and defended the club. Every SPL teams fans have been bigoted towards us just as we are towards them - hey it's football, comes with the territory I'm afraid. You don't like us, we don't like you - viola! Bigotry. The problem with it, is that Bigotry covers such a wide definition and can be applied to almost anything in daily life you disagree with. So to the PC mob, dont take such offense when someone connected with Rangers uses the B word, as we have suffered with it just as much as anyone else.

Ed just a question. What is the legality of the fine imposed by the SFA on CW and what are the chances of forcing him to pay it?
Eddie {Ed052's Note - I believe the SFA banned him from scottish football for life, And also recieved a £200.000 fine. he will be forced to pay this fine,

As I write this I am still struggling to fully comprehend and come to terms with the distressing news that broke this afternoon. HM Revenue & Customs earlier revealed their intention to oppose Charles Greenās CVA and force The Rangers Football Club plc into liquidation. Obviously this news was met with the usual explosion of delight and exuberance from fans of certain clubs, not to mention various journalists who I am sure need no introduction. There is however a rather phony and ill-informed claim circulating the glorious online world of social networking sites and fansā forums. That claim of course is that The Rangers will die.
Let us first jump back in time to an era when the world was much simpler. In 1872 four young men had a dream: to start a football team. The gallant pioneers reached their goal and formed a football club which would go on to win more titles and trophies than any other on the planet. From such modest and humble beginnings The Rangers have dominated Scottish Football for well over a century and went toe-to-toe with the best in Europe. Now, some would argue, that proud and illustrious history is to be lost. Letās consider that shall we?
As we now know, due to the financial mismanagement of David Murray and Craig Whyte, The Rangers Football Club plc looks almost certain to be liquidated after its assets have been purchased by a new company. The refusal of Charles Greenās CVA proposal by HMRC, a major creditor, now means that the company will cease to exist. The basic assumption behind the rather ludicrous argument that this will mean the end of Rangers as we know it must therefore be that the company and the club are the very same, that they are the one entity. Put simply however, they are not.
The Rangers Football Club plc was incorporated on 27th May 1899, as a quick Companies House WebCheck will confirm. In the eyes of the law and tax authorities, this is a new legal entity, a new beginning. We all know however that Rangersā history prior to that date was not erased or removed from memory. The fans still proudly sing about our founding fathers and this year marks the 140th anniversary of our birth.
If the argument that Rangers FC will lose its history when The Rangers Football Club plc is liquidated is to be valid, then surely our date of formation would be 1899? Celtic, for example, would therefore have been founded in 1897. That simply isnāt the case of course. Why? Well, quite simply you must be able to differentiate between the club and the company. They certainly are not one and the same.
I donāt know about you but I certainly donāt support or follow a company. I support a football club. Our history, our tradition, our memories, our success and achievements cannot simply be placed on a balance sheet to be wiped out when something goes wrong. Iām sure you all remember the card display at Ibrox when Barcelona visited a few years back. Rangers may questionably be More Than A Club but we are most definitely far more than a mere company, no matter how inconvenient that may be to our many critics.
Furthermore if you are in any doubt regarding the consequences of a Newco Football Club then perhaps a quick google search of Leeds Utd would be helpful. Although it is not as prominent in our media as it perhaps should be under the current circumstances, their story highlights that a new company does not equal a new football club. It would have been a tragedy had a proud club like Leeds United lost its past history due to the negligence of its owners and indeed the same can be said of our beloved Rangers. Thankfully, however, such examples completely contradict any argument (or wish) for such an outcome.
Indeed it seems that facts and logical reasoning only apply to our enemies when it suits their argument. It never ceases to amaze me how dedicated these people become with regards to their unhealthy obsession with The Rangers. They will trawl through governing bodiesā rules and regulations, their Articles of Association and research the processes of administration, incubation and liquidation but yet, when all the facts point in the opposite direction of their wishful thoughts, suddenly they lose their appetite for finding the truth and instead simply turn a blind eye and continue to spread their inane, uneducated lies.
In the words of Thomas Gray: āWhere ignorance is bliss, ātis folly to be wiseā....jsm

hi ed, interesting rumour which a friend of mine pointed out to me on another site, ( pie and bovril) an airdrie utd fan claims the brazilian who joined septic ( juninho ) was paid by septic through a ebt scheme.also spectic have been using a scheme called (eis) a 30% tax rebate, which rbs and barclays used, and have recently been fined for, as it was deemed as tax avoidance / evation. do you know if there is any truth in it ??

Why is S.Regan still in a Job that he should never have been appointed to after the corruption in cricket scandal where he was implicated and to this day has never publicly denied it .
Can partially understand how he hasnt been sacked for liking the Hang L McCulloch tweet after all the big man decided not to go down the same route as certain crybabies have in the past were nothing more than a handshake is to be seen as attempted murder and dropped at a latter date
But how can he survive the near certain UEFA investigation into corruption in the SFA (has previous ie cricket) where some of its members have tried to fix the outcome of a competition with imaginary rulings in the hope of Financial gain

30 May 2012 03:59:51
just a question to you all.... i read that it was the rff that your club used inorder to get the baned overtuned, and was wondering how you feel abou that? because now yous are opened to stiffer punishments AM and WS seem happy to use your money that way which i would be mad at. thoughts?
29 May 2012 17:04:32
Being sent back to SFA means they will reconsider terminating membership surely as this was their initial finding but deemed to harsh. If the available remedies are not harsh enough then we could be terminated. Thanks D&P, we're now potentially in a worse position and that's before the wrath of UEFA to come for taking SFA to court. This could be the end game now Bears.
29 May 2012 09:32:33
how much punishment is right in your eyes, because to my knowledge we have been punished, the club think part of the punishment is to severe to carry on but like all other non rangers fan you want more . where do you draw a line that everyone is happy, some fans especially the celtic ones will never be happy until rangers are gone which is there own opinions but that likely wont happen but it has to stop somewhere and not everyone will be happy with the outcome so where do we draw the line.

This is not actually a rumour but a question. Can D&P sell season tickets whilst the club is in administration?
Or would they have to take in money on a game-to-game basis? All assuming that we make it to the start of next season. {Ed022's Note - The season tickets have technically already been sold mate, so no.}
