Afternoon Bears,
Just had a look at Solanke on youtube. I know youtube could make me look like Laudrup but from the footage he looks to be an all round decent player, should be a great addition, IF.

Anyhow the real reason i'm on as is the norm when on youtube I end up watching Rangers footage and for the umpteenth time watched the highlights of us v them semi final 2016.

Q: Is Barry Mckays goal the best most enjoyable Rangers goal in the last 8 years. Never get tired of watching the ball bulge that net. Still makes the hairs stand up. Let hope this season brings us plenty of similar moments!

Rfc_Chris, Yep that goal was top class, well remembered!, however the fact lego head was spun into the ground like a corkscrew puts Barry's slightly ahead, LOL. hopefully in 12 months time we are debating who scored the best goal, Umar, Fredo, Solanke - Tav, about time he came back to form. ATB

What about big Berties goal against them in the league cup semi final. Never has anyone struck a ball so sweetly at the national stadium.

Hi ArthurD, Last 8 yrs ish only, I would like to sit with you and enjoy the bottle of whisky I have signed in my cupboard by the legendergy JA for hours/ days on our best moments prior to armageddon. However that bottle as long as I live and breath, will never be opened. He was and is utter class as a player and gent. We can only dream of another Albertz.

Still breaks my heart that we no longer have Waggy and McKay even Bates they were all good players Waggy was a work horse, McKay although not a work horse had flashes of brilliance and Bates would have saved us 2 or 3 million on this Cooper guy

Grass is always greener ( dare I say that . even hatevthat colour I’m so biggeted ) simply. waggie ran his course . ended up out his depth . good against Falkirk . Ayr ect but struggled against the higher up teams . Barry simply cut a deal with the magic hat when he was here and stalled for a cash cow move to Nottingham. if he had buckled down he would be in Stevie’s plans. Bates the same had some great games but some very very poor ones too. Stevie will sort it son. the future is bright . all these guys are where they should be. all great boys but fell a bit short . fir me anyhow
