Nizzy, we have been on a downward projector since we won the league and the blame lies 100% with the Board. Unfortunately that is all history now and it is unto Bennett and Bisgrove to ensure that we now make the correct appointments for both a DoF and a manager. Both need to be top quality and funds need to be found to sort out this unholy mess of a Team.
Personally I would also like to see some new investment and a few changes to the Board.

No given my thoughts yet so here goes. We need to stop talking about managers who can develop players to sell, managers who have taken small clubs to success, managers who have vast experience but won feck all. We need a manager who will attract quality players and a board who will back him. SG got my vote and was given 4 years. We have moved on. I didn’t want Gio but he delivered a successful season. I didn’t want Beale at all. As for the candidates not sure but wouldn’t bet against Lampard.

Someone please give me some idea what they see in Lundstram, he passed all night to nobody once actually to the linesman and that also failed, aye he crossed for the goal but it was a hit and hope .

Berkshire. totally agree with you but to sort out this mess we would most probly have to get rid of the dross to get funds. who in their right mind would look at them (dessers offers worse than nothing. lammers offers a tad more. I am still very hopeful on Danilo tho) cifu I didn't even know played football I Thot it was a food like tofu ? honestly it looks like we are in truly awful trouble. I hope not. my choice is sayin lampard for the fact he will give youth a chance. rice. Lovelace devine, Lowry but not all at the same time guys who will give u 110 to prove . these boys have ability that are equivalent to any teams youngsters in the league so why not?

Perhaps I am grasping at straws but I am still hoping that Bennett and Bisgrove have a plan to take us forward that includes significant new investment, a quality new DoF and a quality Manager. Why else would Bennett decide to concentrate full time on the Chairman role.
We need new blood in the Boardroom, personally I would get Souness onboard as he at least understands football and is a winner.
We need to get rid of some of the current Board, that I dare say would mean finding someone to buy their shares, and I remain unconvinced by our current Chief Scout!

First thing that should be done today is to pull Wright in and just give him a package to walk. Even if he's put on the equivalent of garden leave, I wouldn't even let him train with the youths. Our Board needs to set the tone going forward and this would be a start. If they could do the same with others who's contracts are up soon then so be it. The fact the only outfield player that tried last night is a loanee tells you all you need to know about this lot of imposters. Who can honestly confidently say we'll finish second in the league at worst?
