buying a 31 year old player fits right in with beales statements.
we are going for talented players aged 20-25 that can develop and increase in value, while starting int he main team.
fleck fits non of that, so that's a no go.

Beale clearly stated he is after young players in the 20-25 range talented / dynamic / that can be developed and sold on for profit - fleck does not fit that description, buying another teams old rejects is not the way forward, weir was during a different era - do you want to challenge celtic and dominate the SPFL or capitulate to them again next season?

Fleck would do a job for us and he’d count for the Scottish quota. At least with him you know we’ll get a player who gets it and what is needed to play for rangers. Can’t have a team of 20-25 year olds you need experience in there as well.

I think our best signing will be if Chelsea or any other Prem team take Postecoglu from East End.
Also have grave concerns re Beale comment about potentially not filling role of sporting director - are we penny pinching once more or do we have a back up plan? - that worries me as we are not too good on the recent back up plant front!
If our scouting was poor with a man at the helm whose job it was to coordinate signings where the F will we be if that role gets vacated.
Also after watching the match again it was plain to see that Aberdeen wanted victory more than us and jeez we have really some load of deadwood to shift.

Personally I would be happy if Fleck joined. He knows the Club, he is a good strong midfield player that gives 100% every game. We need proven players that can help develop the young players in particular in what it means to play for rangers. With Davis and McGregor leaving he is exactly what we need!

He's a rangers fan he wasn't given a proper chance at rangers he was an employee he owes the club nothing and owed us nothing back then either.

Up until recently I would have said no to Fleck but we need to get rid of lots of players which means some of the replacements will have to be Bosmans . Losing McGregor, Davis and possibly Jack and Arfield will take away some of the core Rangers men and replacing them with a guy, like Fleck may not be a bad idea. I have not seen him play this season, so I would only say that, this should only happen if he still has the legs to play for a couple of seasons. For those who have been pushing Shankland and Duk, I have changed my mind, if we can get shot of Sakala I would try one or both of these guys.

Not sur why a player would transfer his contract to a shareholder. Also fleck left 2012/ and Ashley arrived as a shareholder October 2014, I think u may be getting mixed up
Fleck imo would be an excellent signing for us if finances are favourable.

Fleck would be a good signing for me. He is homegrown so good for Europe squad. He is only 31 so we could get 2 or 3 seasons out of him. He knows the club and what's expected and the standards demanded by the fans. I wouldn't see him as a starter but great player to come into our squad and no fee so can't see any risk.

Thing is… if Fleck’s available on a free. And let's say we’re losing both Davis and Arfield. We’d be bringing in an experienced player, who knows what it means to wear the badge. That also qualifies as homegrown and scottish quota. Sure, he might not start week in week out but he’d def do a job for 2-3year and wouldnae cost stupid money. No forgetting he's pretty used to playing in the middle of the park with Lundstram. So what if he walked away 10 years ago, he was a feckin kid with his whole career ahead of him.
