So a few folk disillusioned by Daviies.
Granted I'm rather disillusioned by our transfer dealings but Liverpool don't take on poor players.
Some complaining about price. If 4m then I understand it's steep compared to his cost but that's Liverpools luck not ours.
Also anyone who has had the privilege to train as part of that team and regime will be worth 1m alone!
I think he will definitely be a good signing!
Also I mentioned earlier praise where it's due, we acted super fast! And beat Burnley, who also have a decent record of spotting a good defender.
More is needed though.

Where he comes from makes no difference to how good he will be and what his price should be. Would you have paid £4m for Ojo just because he came from Liverpool? Absolutely No chance!
Liverpool signed Davies when they had no centre backs and still even then he never featured. They played Fabinho or even Henderson at times at centre back that season rather than play Davies.
That said the boy should be given every bit of support from us once he is our player.
The fee is what it is. We’ve paid decent money for players in the past who have been rank rotten and we’ve found some gems for next to nothing.
Trust the management and back the players. That’s all we can do.

Ed don't think he was injured the whole of that half of the season and Liverpool had real problems and he couldn't get near the team. Looked like a total last minute panic buy then Klopp didn't rate him at all. He's just nowhere near that level. Saying that recall Preston fans loved him so I'll back him to be still back him like any new player.

Liverpool are no different to any other club and take on poor signings same as everyone else - look at the players they have signed who never get a first team game loads of them, let's hope Davies is good enough to perform in the SPL, i am not convinced by Davies mainly because no one has seen him play for a long time - Liverpool are doing alright by the deal if the figures are correct.

Ed, it's not like he only had one chance. so as fruit bear said he couldn't get near the team despite all their injuries that season. Klopp prefeffed to use either his reserves or even weaken his midfield rather than use him. In saying that just because he wasn't good enough for Liverpool doesn't mean not good enough for us. Will judge him on what he does for us.
{Ed001's Note - he had one chance. Klopp didn't give up on the midfield experiment until late because Davis wasn't fit enough to play. When he did get fit enough he got injured. Klopp doesn't just throw people in unless they are at the right level of fitness as his way of playing requires intensity.}
