Last night not only showed the gulf in class and quality.
But also the gulf in application and desire.
Napoli made SIX changes to there line up that won at the weekend.
But still had players willing to bust a gut for the manager.
Gio's team selection took a few of us by surprise.
Yilmaz in from the cold for Barasic.
Wright in to start a crucial game after being used sparingly so far this season.
The same old failings still reared there ugly head.
The players don't look fit in my eyes.
Last season Morelos would have used his body strength and speed to hold of the defender and get a decent shot away.
And he would also have thrown himself at the second half chance as well.
Our fullbacks gave the ball away 34 times between them!
Kent himself lost the ball a huge 21 times.
Our central midfielders gave the ball away 23 times.
McGregor looked as if he was playing musical statues for all 3 goals ( and even the shot that hit the bar ) .
Simple passes going astray all over the park.
We look a side devoid of passion, fight and confidence.
Heads seem to go down far too easily at this level when we go a goal down.
On the plus side if we beat Ajax 5-0 we qualify for the EL! ???.

Injuries have not helped, that is for sure but even if everyone was fit, can anyone say with confidence that we would be doing better. GIO doesn't seem to know what his best 11 are and what system is best.
Scott wright came in for a half in champions league game then wasn't seem until Dundee game then goes out again only to come in last night. It's all over place. Sacala, motondo same.
