Rip Johnny Hubbard a true legend had the pleasure of meeting him a few times at sportsman’s dinners we hosted he had some great story’s to tell about his time at Rangers he will be missed

My dad played against him a few times in the 50's. Absolute gentleman he would always say. RIP, sir.

I was so very sad to hear of the passing, of a true wee gentleman,
wee johnny hubbard! I have met and spoken to johnny on many an occasion! Always joking and laughing and as well as being a true glasgow rangers legend, he was an absolute gentleman first and foremost, a wee gem! He always had time to blether and spend time, speaking to the fans! God bless you johnny hubbard and heaven will have improved their team now, with you now there! My sincerest condolences to ALL johnny's family and friends! We will all miss the gentleman, wee johnny hubbard! I'm absolutely honoured to have known you, SIR! JOHNNY HUBBARD WAS CERTAINLY GLASGOW RANGERS TO THE CORE! He adored our club and we adored him!
