Domestic treble for me. Love us in the Europa but feel league is no.1 priority and would love Scot Cup also. Fear injuries are going to stretch us too far to continue to fight on 3 fronts all the way to end of the season. Europa does bring bigger money though in short term but league brings CL.

My wish would be the treble.
We have had a decent run in europe and acquitted ourselves well but injuries and Liverpool seem like obstacles too great to overcome on the euro circuit.
I would be satisfied with Champions League Qualification and the money that comes with that and three cups on the shelf.
It would be great to achieve it all but that wasn't your question.

We are not able to avoid Liverpool I feel so winning the EL ain't happening. Treble all day long for me. Anyone who feels we could beat the scousers whether in a final or 2 legs is delusional. flack expected but that's ok . no your limitations I say . and the treble is very doable.

The EL trophy is more prestigious imo and would almost certainly cause a worldwide shortage of tinfoil. However I don't know if I can stomach the thought of them wining more silverware. I don't know Cifu that's a tough one.

This season the league is the one and only priority. Come to think of it I'd take the league and a good run in Europe every season and leave the wee diddy cups to the wee diddy teams.

Liverpool`s inclusion totally kills the Europa League for me.
If we could win the league that wd be great, would settle for 2 trophies if that was the case.
Just hope our squad holds up over the coming weeks or we could end up with the trophy we have.

Genuinely believe winning the league could accelerate the rebuild needed by 2 years and give us tje chance to buuild a squad that could dominate for a couple of years but without guaranteed CL money that becomes impossible.

Sad reality is that the new Financial Sustainability rules out more and more pressure on increasing turnover - so I'd vote for winning the Europa League as this would bring with it more money for this season and the guarantee of UCL money next.

OneWalterSmith, I don’t know if I’m reading your post wrong but winning the Europa League, Guarantees entry into the CL- even if we win the league or not. And placed in pot one avoiding harder teams- although if we are being honest they are all hard. So because winning the Europa guarantees the CL money anyway I’d pick Europa, but actually OneWalterSmith I’d agree with everything else you said regarding rebuild. I think that’s why I am so nervous because I know what CL money with a decent bit of cash, not obviously it all but a nice piece could do in a manager and scout like Big Phil’s and the nil’s recruitment guy- we need to make sure we are getting CL money one way or another.
All these injuries are just the last thing we need, like seeing young Cole coming on but not in these circumstances although he needs to take his chance however it came about! I’m looking at it like this we have 180 minutes of football Benfica and Dundee- 2 wins no more daft injuries, get to international break and hopefully we’ll see Sima, Cantwell back in the side. lol ? I’m still raging about Cortes, I really liked what I saw from him and thought we were on to a winner. Now I’m not sure he will play for us again. I’d still buy him depending on what big Phil seen behind the scenes in training. If we somehow managed to keep Sima and Cortes because of the CL that would be something, lol ? I know I’m dreaming about the Sima and Cortes part but u never know the CL is a big draw, let’s do whatever it takes to get there.

You can have the treble or you can have the Europa cup
If we could have the Europa cup and the riches it brings and automatic seeded into CL along with a glitzy game again the Cl winner and the revenue that brings
The players stock going up
Then that would bring a lot of needed cash and take the treble next season ?
Don’t think the original post was about beating Liverpool just a hypothetical question if you could have one or the other what would you choose?

I'd take the treble just to cause major meltdown in the east, however having 2 euro trophies would also do that plus significantly increase player values, remember Bassey wasn't even first pick at full back at Xmas then a 5 month euro run and 20m.
As for Liverpool, on paper we don't beat them but it's football so you never know, also on the run to seville everyone was scared of barcelona then frankfurt knocked them out on the way to the final. Liverpool are in a title race too so could slip up thereselves in Europe, let's just win an unprecedented quadruple.
