Morning fellow bears. Not posted in a while, work stuff and family issues. Still followed the page from afar.
Was at the game yesterday was a tough watch at spells. However 3 points and on we go. Thought it was great man management putting Cantwell in the ten. He grew as the game went on. I think when we get our injuries back we can eat in to that lead they have. Be interesting to see who leaves and who comes in January.
Think wee Ross reminds me of Duranty in his early years. His vision his unreal and so brave on the ball. The defence really look leggy to me and might need freshened up. Ludstram playing like a guy who has only a few months of his contract left.
What's your thoughts troops?

Hope you’re right about McCausland Peter H, to even be mentioned in the same breath as Durrant is a compliment, Durrant was special player until that injury. McCausland wants to do well and he’s not afraid to listen, he has PC at club level and Michael O’Neill at country level, so he’s getting good advice?
04 Dec 2023 11:30:35
I don’t see that at all.
04 Dec 2023 12:04:03
Great re macaulsland, today durrant, yesterday phone ibn on way back from game, will be better than laudrup Fgs, let’s give the boy a chance.
Ps absolutely nothing like durrant as a player.

I like Young Ross . his potential is understated. as far as Lunny, I also feel he is a steady ship in stormy waters. let's concentrate on now- not next may. his contract situation will take care of itself.

I would be getting shot of Lundstram, I just don't see a player there at all. There is a common theme between McCausland and Durrant, that being that some people think they are better than they actually are. Pre-injury, Durrant was a decent player but certainly not the superstar folk made him out to be. Same with McCausland, he has potential to be something special, but far from the finished article. He is looking good in a mediocre team though, but don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at him. He's the one shining light we have at the moment.

Maybe in height and build when durrant came through.
04 Dec 2023 13:11:57
Lundstram was outstanding yesterday . Goldson and Balogun just had a week of not playing so why would they be leggy and need rested?
04 Dec 2023 13:13:26
We can’t get shot of lundstram really as much as we want to he’s rarely injured and we have no one better that can stay fit consistently, his form has improved under clement overall. I would like to see rice get involved again from bench especially when 4 defenders making the squad pointlessly.

Don't agree with you whatsoever DTB!
Ian durrant was a magnificent, attacking midfielder pre injury from that thug neil simpson ?He would have been wanted by a lot of big clubs if he hadn't got that serious injury, can't believe anyone couldn't see that ?.
04 Dec 2023 13:34:53
Durrant was a "decent" player? WTF? Are you serious? Durrant, before his injury, was never only a "decent" player, and what you just posted there is absolute rubbish. Have a word with yourself, DTB.
04 Dec 2023 13:57:22
Dtb, i'd be interested to know how old you are. Durrant pre injury was a really young guy and absolutely unbelievable. The league cup final with the davie cooper free kick, the old firm games 85/ 86 season he was unbelievable and a teenager. Ian durrant was robbed of his prime and Scottish football robbed of what could have the best player in living memory. Mccausland doesn't remind me of him one bit in the way they play as they are different kinds of style but as far as lack of fear and plenty of drive the are similar. Mccausland is more like neil McCann.
04 Dec 2023 15:14:43
Ross reminds me more of McCann or Huistra.
Great wee player that Beale said could go!
04 Dec 2023 15:19:47
The boy is no Durrant, he might become a good player but Ian was special talent.
04 Dec 2023 16:49:18
Sorry Bouncy, but I nearly spat out my coffee there. Durrant was absolutely imperious before he was assaulted. Elegance, vision and a great engine on him, not to mention the timing of his runs was superb.
Have a word with yourself. Bouncy.

DTB winding u guys up. Never a blue nose.
04 Dec 2023 18:28:19
DTB durrant pre injury was a superb player . I take you didn’t watch him much if you think that.
04 Dec 2023 19:39:06
Durrant was a standout as a midfielder for the main reason he was direct, defenders will always try to usher players wide, the last thing they want is a player who is coming straight at them making the defender make a decision, we were lucky enough to have GAZZA who did the exact same, hopefully in a couple of seasons time McCausland will be held in high regard to as much that he is in some of the younger supporters best Rangers 11 they have seen ???.

With the greatest of respect John, don't you ever say that about me again. Who do you think you are. This is a site about opinions and mine is clear. Durrant was no more than a decent player before his horrific injury. Your befuddled mind is playing tricks on you (you started this by the way) . Durrant showed a great deal of talent, but never consistently. He was decent in Scotland but his career could as easily have crashed and burned in the way his buddy Derek Ferguson did, as it would have moving on to anywhere else. I am 53 years old and probably only missed a handful of games in that period. There are people here saying he was brilliant who probably never saw him play. I did, he was decent. Wind yer necks in.

You must have went to different games than me Durrant was a class act.
