Unbelievable game yesterday. Not for the faint-hearted. Never a good look to lose the first goal in an OF game. Tav at fault. Thought Butland could have done better. Likewise with penalty and 3rd goal. Shame he had one of his worse games in front of GS. I'd only give Sterling and possibly Soutar pass marks yesterday. Diomande came onto a game in second half. Lundstram was up and down. I don't understand why he chose to start Wright and Lawrence - both were non-existent. Great cameos by Sima and Matondo. Dessers was - well Dessers. We need to go to porkheid with the complete belief that we can win there - not looking for a draw. Otherwise, this is in danger of becoming a mentality thing. That said, with the right team and formation we can win there and win the league. let's get Dundee out of the way first though.

Butland wasn’t at fault for any goal yesterday ? if it wasn’t for him it would have been more than 2-0 at HT.

Sou - Butland never had his best game but was still mighty influential in keeping it at 2-0 HT - so thanks to some great saves we got a point- it is the overall marking and running with players which gives me nightmares from our so called stalwarts at back which cost us yesterday imo.

Butland did his job - not unbelievable saves for me. I don't understand why keepers get an easy ride McGregor was the same last 2 seasons (a few worldies but other just routine)
Butland could/ should have done better with 1st and 3rd goal - penalties are a lottery.

Thought Butland was the only one to get pass marks for the first half as for the third goal I think others should have dealt with it long before it got anywhere near the goal. Do we expect too much from Jack.

Sima and matondo give us great pace on the flanks and i'd start both at breezeblock boulevard?Both can also finish and i'd definitely hope we can/ will sign sima on a permanent deal ?.

G4, of course Butland should be ready for any mistake by any player - he was caught flat footed and could see what was developing better than Tav.
It was a freak goal but I would have expected him to react instead of sitting down.

Mph it goes threw sterlings legs so would have seen it late and it’s souttar man and he was nowhere near him.

Not having a go Storm just pointing out how some players are untouchable and others get slammed for the smallest things.
Notice, never used “empty shirt”, never offered to taxi him south for free.

The only goal that Butland could have perhaps done better with was the 3rd but how he can be blamed for Tav's shambolic mistake and having no centre back cover at times is beyond me. Butland apart the entire team was horrid in that first half, totally lacking in fight and looking more like an Aberdeen team than a Rangers Team.
Starting Wright was a major mistake, he brings less than nothing to the team. In hindsight, Lawrence probably shouldn't have started but I can understand why he was chosen ahead of Cantwell for this game.
I would go so far as to say that if we had started the game with Sima, Cantwell and Matondo, we would have won that game, even with that defence!

Butland has been immense for Rangers this season and the save from O Reilly was outstanding.
He kept us in the game especially in the first half, and we are fortunate to have such a class goalkeeper at our club.

If players were 100% fit they would have started so you can only go with what’s available.
