Apparently mcinness boy has been telling people we are in talks already for watson. Would like it to be true, even if he’s given pre season and isn’t ready for first team yet can loan him the way Celtic did with Christie.

If signed i reckon it would be better loaned back to Kilmarnock until January maybe summer, like Rice loaned out as well in the summer wouldn't mind Kilmarnock as well see what we've got with both of them together, could be outstanding cm's for us.

I agree storm, as everytime i've seen watson play he's impressed me, so i think he's good enough to come into our squad now ?.

Tbf Star raskin is just back from injury, but does need to up his game to force his way back in, thought initially at first him and Cantwell were linking well though.

Sws outstanding young player, but in my opinion he'd be better with 100 games under his belt, you have too remember he is on the Kilmarnock bench often, would love him signed.

If we were to sign Watson I don't believe he would be ready for our first team by quite a way. However, I would never lend him or Rice to a club that plays on such a poor artificial surface. I don't think the boss would either. Watson looks as though he could make it, but maybe a wee bit later rather than sooner.
