Like I said before, we got one, maybe 1.5 good seasons out if him, and that's it. The rest of the time was littered with mediocrity, cowardice, and negativity, so he is no big loss.

Some good performances but too heavy a jersey for him.
After McGregor screamed at him calling him a shi**bag in an OF game and he showed nothing, he'd never have played again for some of our previous managers.

He’s out of contract anyway and if we aren’t going to renew that then fair enough. We have had our monies worth, yes he’s had some shocking performances but he has also had a number of good performances and a barrowload of assists. I wish him well going forward and will remember him as part of the unbeaten league side to stop the 9.75 in a row.

You say a "barrowload" of assists, Theglasgowranger, but have you actually checked his stats? Over the 6 seasons he's played for us, he averages only 4.8 assists per season in the league. Not exactly a "barrowload" is it?

With how often he is injured, and the fact he is a full back, you take pretty much 5 assists a year. So spoiled with tavs numbers i think we forget that.
Great crosser of the ball and has been a good servant for the money paid, agree there have been some shocking perfomances and convenient injuries amongst it though.

Fair enough, CP175, you make a very valid point regarding those stats. You are absolutely correct, and we have been spoiled with Tav's numbers, and even though it's only natural to compare, nobody is getting near our captain's figures.

How was it not a debacle John? It was on then off then on then off, they were going to accept an early release fee then they weren't so in my opinion it was a bit of a debacle.

I never said it was to do with Rangers did I? I never said Rangers agreed to pay any fee either. His parent club would have had to pay an early recall / release fee to get him out the loan, which I'm sure they were willing to pay and negotiation between them and the Cypriot club broke down.

I think the whole situation with Jefte was point blank down to us not selling Ridvan and Jeftes people might have been at fault for not keeping the whole thing on the quiet. I'm quite sure we would have paid out if we got the numbers for Ridvan, good thing is we didn't sell him and now his numbers have increased and now he's playing for Turkey. even better! Borna done well for us, but he's not going to be remembered as one of our greatest or best at that and that's OK for him from where he was to where he ended up!

Surely if Borna leaves in the next transfer window Jefte will be the back up for Ridvan, that’s if we sign him from Apoel Nicosia.
