Livi, it’s the same with most English clubs, they see Rangers, hearts, Aberdeen, Celtic as very easy markets.
Rangers are doing exact same re our academy recruitment, last two, three years we have taken fon NI, Millwall, Everton, Wimbledon couple of academy for ishaka nsio.
We will be stepping into Europe for academy boys this summer mb Africa and South America.

I know we have spoken on here about this before. The fact that arsenal and the likes are after other youth but we can't get them breaking through. Shows that the lack of youth and development football after u18s in this country is to the detriment of our young players but also to making a decent turn on our players for the clubs.
If we had age groups after u18 to u23 teams would make enough money to fund the missing leagues. One of those who just extended is going down to have a look around at arsenal next week. What can we offer in way of development without the appropriate age groups to allow their development. The boy is a rangers supporter and so is his family but it would be easy to turn their heads.

I know mate I've seen it first hand. 16's, 17's, 18's and the odd 19 vying for a pick in an u18 team. Players lost to the apathy of the sfa and nepotism of coaches. The sfa is a system built to fail run by people not even from that background.
