Lets see what all our thoughts are about our players who are out of contract at the end of the season and the players we currently have on loan ? Here's my thoughts/ opinion ie.
Lundstram -will be offered a new contract and stay, jack-won't be offered a new contract away, barisic-away, roofe-won't be offered a new contract, away, mclaughlin -won't be offered a new contract, away. Now our players currently on loan ie. sima-stay, possibly on another year loan deal or a permanent deal depending on the fee, silva -possibly another loan deal but that's the best we can hope for, cortes -permanent signing, again depending on the fee/ possible loan deal again/ stay ? What's all our thoughts on this guys ?.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think lunny is away and will be looking for 1 big last contract. The only one ouy if contract to stay will be balogun. Sima won't be back. We will sign cortes, silva won't be back.

22 Mar 2024 08:01:21
Coops you had a go at me earlier in the week for saying roofe wouldn’t be staying ?. Now you are saying it.
PC will decide on all of those. ?.

22 Mar 2024 08:41:46
Think it will be difficult for us to get another loan for sima and silva as teams in better leagues may be circling, cortes I'd like to get a season loan and I'm sure diomande loan will become permanent as it was agreed I think.

22 Mar 2024 08:42:48
I think Lunny stays if we win league as he won't get a crack at the Champions league again.

22 Mar 2024 09:19:36
Walter, I agree with most of your list. Silva will be gone this summer. I'd give Balogun another one year contract.

22 Mar 2024 09:27:45
Of the out of contract I’d say maybe only lundstram stays however maybe balogun but only as cover if we manage to move on Davies . I would keep diomande if possible, Cortes, sima and probably silva if we could . I think we might need to strengthen other areas depending on potential sales. Personally if it’s status quo I’d sign a center back, left back and a stiker maybe a midfielder.

I think he's looking for the best deal on the table now, and I still think he will end up playing next season in Saudi for Gerrard's team. Honestly, can't blame a player at that age chasing a last big deal.

22 Mar 2024 10:38:52
Bgate we need to keep Diamonde as it was a loan with an obligation to buy.

22 Mar 2024 11:15:13
Ok thanks jfm didn’t realise. Thinking diomande will be better next season after a proper pre season with rangers. That said I think they all will benefit from a proper pre season under big Phil.

22 Mar 2024 11:39:10
Roofe - exceptional player when fit but you would expect him to be released at the end of his contract.

22 Mar 2024 12:23:08
I don't think Sima is worth 7 million.

22 Mar 2024 13:04:57
Sima is definitely worth 7m but we won't need to pay that amount. How much is oriley worth again pal?

22 Mar 2024 13:53:11
Big dado the comparison to oreily and sima ain’t any good different positions for a start.
It depends how much we have to spend in summer whether we sign sima I think for 5 million and one year on his deal then I think that would be a good price.

22 Mar 2024 15:26:12
O'Riley has 4 years left on his contract and is wanted by teams in the top 5 leagues, Sima has failed in the epl, has one year left in his contract and coming back from injury. There's absolutely no comparison between the 2. Sima only worth 3 million and add ons tops imo.

22 Mar 2024 15:44:59
Sima will have a better career than O'Riley in my opinion boomboom, O'Riley started the season well but he's back like the average player he was last season, would rather have Cantwell in my team 100%, I'm just very happy we never touched that Palma.

22 Mar 2024 15:46:35
Boomboom did Sima fail in the epl? you need chances too fail in any league, so definitely never failed in my opinion.

22 Mar 2024 16:25:31
I'm not saying who will have a better career I'm saying the truth Star. Sima is in the spfl due to not cutting it at Brighton. O'Riley has high stock due to clubs in the top 5 leagues wanting him.

22 Mar 2024 16:46:44
He wasn't comparing their positions, he was comparing their value. Positions have no bearing on their value. I get what you are saying boomboom, however Sima performed well in europe and o'reilly looks as though he has downed tools since he never got a move in January. I can't see Brighton letting him leave for any less than they paid even with a year left on his deal.

22 Mar 2024 17:06:28
Starting the truth boom?

22 Mar 2024 17:46:28
Boom, sima has never had a chance in epl.

My star it’s your opinion and you're are entitled to it, but it’s another whopper from you with sima and O'Reilly.

22 Mar 2024 19:33:52
What are you even talking about Sima and O'Riley? if you're talking about a better career, i believe Sima will, O'Riley can't perform well constantly and at an age he should be.

22 Mar 2024 20:51:03
To be fair star didn't Atl Madrid just bid for him?

22 Mar 2024 21:27:00
Seemingly did, but that doesn't change my opinion RTG, he'll be 24 year this season and plays good for a few months a season, he should be stepping up when McGregor is missing.

22 Mar 2024 23:14:41
He's clearly downed tools after he never got a move in January.

23 Mar 2024 07:31:06
Really RTG, so you have him in your team then?

23 Mar 2024 10:54:20
What? You don't think O'Reilly has downed tools? The majority of Celtic fans feel that he has because he never got a move. Why are you asking me if I would have him in my team? Are you another one who does not like an opinion that is different to yours?

You said that you think Sima would have a better career and I said to be fair Atl Madrid bid for O'Reilly, teams like that are not bidding for Sima. Whether or not one of us would have him in our team is neither here nor there and proves nothing!

23 Mar 2024 11:32:10
Once again rtg in my opinion Sima will have a better career, if AM did sign him he would be posted missing then, because he wouldn't get near their bench and they certainly weren't paying the cash celtic wanted.

23 Mar 2024 13:57:14
Why would Diego Simeone bid for him if he wouldn't get on their bench? Unless you are better qualified than Simeone then your opinion has no more credibility than anyone else. Yes it is your opinion and you are perfectly entitled to it, so why are you irked with other's opinion?

Its irrelevant that they weren't going to pay the cash Celtic wanted, the fact is they bid for him. So Simeone must think he could do a job for him.
