It's on x that denkey is about to sign for 5 million, please let this be true he's the next drogba.

Lithium-1872

1.) 01 Feb 2024 09:30:40
Your falling for some bull.

2.) 01 Feb 2024 09:56:20
I'd be very surprised if he signs.

3.) 01 Feb 2024 10:14:51
i would doubt as window closed 11pm last night.

4.) 01 Feb 2024 10:52:59
I wouldn't be holding out for that to be true. I also read an article from yesterday saying he prefers to go to ligue 1 in summer. People put anything on twitter.

5.) 01 Feb 2024 10:54:14
can't see that any where on X.

6.) 01 Feb 2024 11:19:42
Well no get him that cheap, I don’t think there will be a striker now- massive let down as number 9 was priority all season. It will be Cortes today and that’s it. Unless the unexpected happens.

7.) 01 Feb 2024 11:22:38
Paulaiks if you're going to criticise a post at least get your facts right.
The window shuts tonight at 11.30pm.

8.) 01 Feb 2024 11:23:36
Paulaiks window closes tonight.

9.) 01 Feb 2024 11:29:08
Lol Paulaiks. Had a howler there.

10.) 01 Feb 2024 11:41:13
You tell him, jfm!

11.) 01 Feb 2024 11:43:13
Good first post Paul ?.

12.) 01 Feb 2024 12:30:33
Paul clearly follows closely!

13.) 01 Feb 2024 12:59:16
And the winning reply of this thread goes to Paulaik. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️.

14.) 01 Feb 2024 14:48:18
Paul ?.

15.) 01 Feb 2024 15:15:48
What a diddy P.

16.) 01 Feb 2024 18:00:48
Pressed the send button before checking your facts Paul?.

01 Feb 2024 08:49:21
Cifeuntes to Sunderland? I thought he was signing for cruzeiro.

Lithium-1872

1.) 01 Feb 2024 09:10:14
Not sure thought it was Brazilian team. Anybody heard anything about the link to James Penrice, livvy defender.

2.) 01 Feb 2024 09:16:22
I would be really happy with that, also no buying option would be better.

3.) 01 Feb 2024 09:22:39
Not seen the rumour, but Beale clearly fancies him. If it's a straight loan with no option that could be a great way to get him int he EPL shop window with a view to increasing a subsequent sell on value. Worst case scenario I suspect a South American team will always be interested.

4.) 01 Feb 2024 09:27:59
He's the man to take Sunderland to the next level.

5.) 01 Feb 2024 09:33:13
Where are you hearing about james Penrice joining us?

6.) 01 Feb 2024 09:35:10
Is penrice any good?

7.) 01 Feb 2024 11:28:43
Penrice is decent but I'm not sure if he'd get a game. Family are rangers supporters though his dad jai would be buzzing.

8.) 01 Feb 2024 12:00:31
TBH, if Penrice was 5 years youngest then I'd be all for us going for him. But at 25 I don't think it would be worth it for the club to bring him in and he certainly wouldn't; be a Ridvan replacement.

9.) 01 Feb 2024 12:14:59
Hearing is permanent Cifuentes to Sunderland, hope this is true.

10.) 01 Feb 2024 12:18:02
Hope we put a 30% sell on in his deal, we'll make more than his transfer fee in my opinion.

11.) 01 Feb 2024 12:21:03
It was on one of the sites on newsnow might have been Herald/ Scotsmen seen it earlier.

12.) 01 Feb 2024 12:25:53
Also HITC and ibrox news and a few others, couple of teams along with us looking, might be nothing then again.

13.) 01 Feb 2024 12:42:27
Playing for Sunderland will put Cifuentes in the EPL shop window? You`re having a laugh, he`s miles away from the SPL level never mind the EPL . Our best bets are, that playing in England will get him more used to British style of football or that Beale actually forks out the cash to buy him. More likely is he flops, hardly plays and they send him back at the end of the season.

14.) 01 Feb 2024 13:15:07
Think Sunderland just sold a midfielder so a possibility, more chance of getting money for him from England than Brazil come the summer but thought I read he was homesick or maybe that just an excuse.

15.) 01 Feb 2024 14:52:17
Wslger plenty of good English midfielders have done very little in scotland it’s a differnt type of football altogether.

01 Sep 2023 09:18:50
I think Scott wright on the move guys.

27 Aug 2023 16:36:59
Been told hagis wage of our bill will help pay for souttars wages on a loan to buy.

Lithium-1872

1.) 27 Aug 2023 17:42:41
Who would we drop to start Harry?

2.) 27 Aug 2023 18:10:43
If king goes on loan and Davies gets sold then we have goldson balogun and two souttar so I’d imagine if we are involved in Europe and domestic then all 4 probably get used at different times.

3.) 27 Aug 2023 18:12:04
Go to a back three.

4.) 27 Aug 2023 18:20:11
Were going to play 60 games think we can rotate a few players.

5.) 27 Aug 2023 18:22:24
It’s all about having a squad.

6.) 27 Aug 2023 18:41:26
Who are we going to drop is just a silly question. Think about it how many games do we play?

7.) 27 Aug 2023 20:27:58
Didn't think it was a silly question, was genuinely interested to see who we thought would be the first choice pairing at the back.

Will keep my thoughts to myself going forward.

8.) 27 Aug 2023 20:59:08
Football is a squad game tho you don’t play the same 11 every week do you?

9.) 27 Aug 2023 23:07:49
?sorry but we ain't buying a defender with his record especially with the fee Leicester just paid.

Buy lol hillarious.

13 Aug 2023 13:02:14
Xavier mbuyamba 6 ft 5 cb guys, are we looking to hijack celtics interest in him, talking to a friend down south he said rangers sniffing about him, anyways thought I'd share.

Lithium-1872

1.) 13 Aug 2023 13:24:37
I'm sure I've seen someone on here mention him.

2.) 13 Aug 2023 15:41:37
Is this the a cadet boy at Barcelona.

3.) 13 Aug 2023 15:54:36
Academy boy.

4.) 13 Aug 2023 15:58:09
Right footer think we're covered there, I did see Brentford connected to him though a while back.

5.) 13 Aug 2023 16:21:42
The boy has not even managed to play for Barcelona b let alone first team.
So may not be a first team starter yet for us.

6.) 13 Aug 2023 16:45:19
John his lad plays for a Dutch team.

7.) 13 Aug 2023 16:56:01
Does he not play in Holland?

8.) 13 Aug 2023 17:07:18
Correct Beale, the boy plays for FC Volendam in Holland.

9.) 13 Aug 2023 17:23:34
He was at Barcelona and not involved at any level, doing ok in Holland but we don't require another right side CB.

10.) 13 Aug 2023 17:38:07
Everyone’s obsessed with a left footed cb. A left footed CB shouldn’t be the main reason to sign on. we just need a cb who can play on the left side. As long as they enhance our starting 11, then that’s what matters. People talk about balance. Left footed players in general are hard to come by.

11.) 13 Aug 2023 17:46:46
Strange name, one with bacelona as well

That’s why I asked if it was lad a Barca, cheers folks

Chas I it’s the manager who says he wants a lefty, so is he obsessed.

12.) 13 Aug 2023 18:03:55
A good centre back can play ether side lol.

13.) 13 Aug 2023 18:25:22
Yeah mate being able to use left foot helps when playing left side, not essential but it does help quite a bit and if they can't then I see some occasional problems .

14.) 13 Aug 2023 18:42:30
I never new that gadji, Raskin always better having a left footed lcb.

15.) 13 Aug 2023 18:44:59
He plays for Dutch team volendam john.

16.) 13 Aug 2023 19:25:15
Beale about Glad to help but I don't think it's 'new '

17.) 13 Aug 2023 19:37:40
This thread is just a tad daft, let's try and understand that a guy playing left side needs some ability with his left peg, what is scarce is a CB very strong with both feet. We see disasters in our league every game due to defenders being one footed or possibly boots on the wrong feet and we have had quite a few chaotic events ourselves recently . some unfortunately from defenders on the left who are supposed to be left footed but are simply not that good really even with that foot or side of their brain.

18.) 13 Aug 2023 20:26:32
Cool gadji I've said previous i was more interested in football than school work, hopefully you done as well at your job mate. ?.

19.) 13 Aug 2023 20:37:51
Yep John. The manager is obsessed with it, and so are the guys on Rangers Review, who say we need it too.

20.) 14 Aug 2023 02:09:49
We just had balogun souttar fighting for man of match and have goldson Davies sterling

I think it's will be a case of someone out before someone in.

21.) 14 Aug 2023 05:42:11
Brilliant wee gadji the spelling copper cheers for you help. ?.

22.) 14 Aug 2023 09:33:50
You weclome Beely you no do typing with hammer though see if it helps you.

23.) 14 Aug 2023 10:05:10
Gadji very well done, again hope you done very well at your job to be financially stable to retire at 50 mate.

24.) 14 Aug 2023 10:06:35
Typing him hammer? yes that makes sense gadji the spelling copper.

25.) 14 Aug 2023 10:21:18
Should it not be you're welcome gadji the spelling copper?

26.) 14 Aug 2023 12:16:25
Beale he meant it to be misspelled lol ?.

27.) 14 Aug 2023 12:42:55
Unbeliever lol i know that fgs man.

28.) 14 Aug 2023 12:56:30
I want one of those weclome door mats that were on still game, this one I have "did you phone first? " isn't working .

29.) 14 Aug 2023 14:44:34
Beale, you started it I bit and then well it got narked, I accept a draw and wish you well, no probs here sir.

30.) 14 Aug 2023 15:44:51
Lol gadji I've not got any problem with you mate, i only said i wasn't interested in school work back then football football football for me mate. by the way aways get mixed up with knew new or who and how lol ? spelling is definitely my weak point but arithmetic is a very strong point faster than a calculator ?.

31.) 14 Aug 2023 16:28:25
Beale, Sometimes we maybe have a wee dig on here as if it's with your pal down the pub, doesn't work the same though it looks serious . No problem mate cheers.

32.) 14 Aug 2023 18:47:06
Beale I was the same back then and still same now ?.

33.) 14 Aug 2023 20:27:25
Same gofor, sometimes my mrs tells me am worse am certainly not denying it. ?.

Mckenna to Copenhagen on loan, were we ever in for him?

Lithium-1872

1.) 01 Feb 2024 09:21:11
Yes lithium and clement pulled the plug.

2.) 01 Feb 2024 09:38:29
Maybe a bullet dodged then eh.

3.) 01 Feb 2024 10:09:56
Thank goodness for that, John.

4.) 01 Feb 2024 10:43:59
McKenna "Didnt get it" John. There is a lot of Gers fans on this site "dont get it either" For once the club is reasonably stitched up tight, no leaks no rumours just watch the official club site and its true.

5.) 01 Feb 2024 11:03:23
Liking how Clement operates, think we offered a deal and a timeframe, they didn't respond within time frame so we ended interest.

6.) 01 Feb 2024 12:50:02
McKenna is still available on a pre contract or on a free in the summer if we still want him . We were probably thinking him in and Davies out but his most recent injury has scuppered that. No point in halving 5 centre backs.

31 Jan 2024 14:14:47
Guys I need help is it tonight at midnight the window closes?

Lithium-1872

1.) 31 Jan 2024 14:19:27
Tomorrow it closes.

2.) 31 Jan 2024 14:19:34
Tomorrow at 11pm.

3.) 31 Jan 2024 14:20:52
23.30 tomorrow night.

4.) 31 Jan 2024 14:21:34
No tomorrow evening.

5.) 31 Jan 2024 14:31:11
Tomorrow midnight ??????.

6.) 31 Jan 2024 14:31:16
Tomorrow night 11:30 in Scotland. 11pm in England.

7.) 31 Jan 2024 15:36:00
At least we all agree tomorrow ? ??????.

8.) 31 Jan 2024 15:55:22
Baxter boy is correct. Scotland - 11:30pm tomorrow. England -11:00pm tomorrow. Other windows across Europe are different times or even days. Example, Germany is 5pm tomorrow, Turkey though Is midnight on the 9th of Feb (which annoyingly could mean we still lose Yilmaz even if he is still here after our window shuts) .
Ps. All of this info is easily googleable if anyone is unsure or wants to find the dates and times of other countries.

9.) 31 Jan 2024 16:05:39
Some other countries have a different window, Turkey is open until the end of next week.

10.) 31 Jan 2024 16:33:09
Any advance in tomorrow? ?.

11.) 31 Jan 2024 17:21:40
Storm is on the button.

12.) 31 Jan 2024 18:48:00
It closes 24 hours before the clocks strike 1130pm on Friday night?.

13.) 31 Jan 2024 20:46:10
Ok thx guys.

06 Oct 2023 13:21:27
For me guys it's got to be glassers or clement, these two have serious pedigree and I think any of these two would unite support.

Lithium-1872

1.) 06 Oct 2023 15:46:34
Lithium, It’s all very well uniting the support, But if we don’t have the players at the managers disposal, We are up rubbish Creek. ???????????.

2.) 06 Oct 2023 16:17:13
These players have performed before though . Lundstrum looked as if he was in the huff last night . A few of them did . Ok the park was terrible but they were far from getting stuck in .
My alarm bells were going when I started hearing certain people ( including pundits) say we had one foot in the next round .
We are not out but jeso the need to give themselves one ellof a shake.

3.) 06 Oct 2023 23:25:20
Knutsen too he’s outstanding manager, any of Knutsen glasses or clement will be ideal.

06 Oct 2023 02:53:52
Wow that was bad tonight a team ranked 293 beating us ranked 30,how did we get here, we are in free fall, a rudderless ship, only 2 pass marks tonight butland and sima, god help whoever the new manager is, imo it's the board that need the sack, bennet and Bisgrove have 1 chance at this, or it's there heads next.

Lithium-1872

1.) 06 Oct 2023 06:21:22
We keep hearing that all our good kids are too young to be playing for the first team. After last night's showing I would give them all at chance on Sunday. They couldn't be any worse and would play with some pride at least. Doesn't matter who we have in charge at the minute the players have downed tools.

2.) 06 Oct 2023 06:24:41
Meant to add Dessers is the worst number 9 we have ever had and we have had a few.

3.) 06 Oct 2023 06:39:48
Is it possible we may slip yet and finish 3rd this season? Guess st mirren away with give us good indication of if players have any fight.

4.) 06 Oct 2023 06:42:28
Butland pass marks for what exactly? Letting in 2 goals and making 1 routine save. He let in 3 at the weekend. A think butland has been good but he’s getting praise in games he’s no been great as well it’s raskin all over again.

5.) 06 Oct 2023 07:10:47
Felt sorry for Butland. His reaction at both their goals wondering WTF he has in front of him. The back 4 to a man are an embarrassment.

Goldson’s post-match interview said it all. It wasn’t that he was deflated as you’d expect that, it was the fact there was zero evidence of any anger or fire in him at all. He looked and sounded completely spent.

6.) 06 Oct 2023 07:23:24
That is exactly correct we are a team in free fall. Just like we were under Murty. We will go from one embarrassment to the next now. We didn’t learn from our mistake the first time, and have only ourselves to blame.

7.) 06 Oct 2023 08:25:04
Paul86, 3rd? I saw a fan last night predicting 5th! Hard to argue, we are rudderless at the moment, with no method of play apart from long punt from the back. I just hope wee davo puts a a few kids in, and a new back 4 at the weekend, this lot have given up and the board must act fast now!

8.) 06 Oct 2023 08:49:36
I think butland would be a better player manager.
I can’t see the players reacting to stevo . he’s to nice . Alex Rae he’s not got enough power . Think Laudo will just tell him to do one.

9.) 06 Oct 2023 09:18:33
The result was poor, and too many players appeared to lack stomach.
Weirdly I think Dessers was bothered and tried hard. Too hard. However he is woefully short of confidence and the pace required to do more than be a target or 7yd poacher. Lammers on the other hand has lovely feet (if slow), but really didn’t seem to have stomach for the fight.
Raskin I thought performed ok, but not spectacular and at least could be seen geeing up players and shouting. His midfield partner however seemed disinterested when losing the ball (which was far too often), and the defense……
Interesting that 5 players started the Europa final, so not all about new flops… Beale hasn’t covered himself in glory, but equally he couldn’t have signed all these players or resisted a DOF unless the board allowed it. So whilst I apportion him blame it cannot be 100%.
As for new manager am coming to the conclusion that someone who knows how to get the most from limited resources is the key. Many are on long contracts and only frees or those with summer contracts ending will be in our sights… and with so few Scottish players, does it mean we need a ‘Rangers’ man or one who can simply win. I know where my money is right now.

10.) 06 Oct 2023 09:26:48
Mate, Beale was Murty 2.0.a coach out of his depth.

04 Oct 2023 03:26:31
Do any of you guys trust our clubs hierarchy to appoint the right manager? Personally I don't.

Lithium-1872

1.) 04 Oct 2023 03:49:28
Have to keep the face brother.

In the words of a certain minister “keep believing “ ❤️??.

2.) 04 Oct 2023 03:54:56
Why not Lithium?

3.) 04 Oct 2023 05:21:15
Lithium, remember this is actually john bennett and james bisgrove's first go at making our managerial appointment, so keep the faith, give them a chance and let's wait and see ?.

4.) 04 Oct 2023 06:52:22
Since our demise into lower leagues up until now this board and previous have got every single appointment wrong.

5.) 04 Oct 2023 07:23:37
Lithium then ets just stick with Davis save a few quid

Can’t really say imo we got gerrard wrong.

6.) 04 Oct 2023 07:59:22
John227 Gerrard splits opinion my mates say he was a success few say he wasn't. In my opinion he wasn't a success 1 trophy out of 9 isn't a success.

7.) 04 Oct 2023 08:09:08
Lithium, I guess that the board are entitled to make the decisions based on the money they have invested.

Bisgrove has yet to put a foot wrong since his appointment so let’s give them the benefit of the doubt.

8.) 04 Oct 2023 08:18:34
Gerrard was the right appointment but let us not forget he won nothing those first two seasons. He would not get that same time now. In fact, Steven Gerrard would be sacked after 10 months now, labelled a failure, and would be left on the managerial scrapeheap.

Parameters have shifted. The fans are becoming more desperate, more hostile, and less patient. The culture at he club now is instant success of a sacking.

9.) 04 Oct 2023 08:29:22
What do some of you want, this Board has done nothing but support the Club, the scumbags we had previously in the Green era were hellish, I personally am happy with our Board, what else could they have done.

10.) 04 Oct 2023 08:59:33
With Gerrard it was more about the journey than anything, if you want to count silverware sure 1 outta 9 isn’t good, but for me he built us, and I always felt like we were going in the right direction with him, look at what he inherited? And god only knows what would have happened if our small minded board backed him after 55?

And even with that he still left us in a strong enough position when he left to go to a European final, if it wasn’t for him I think we’d be still on 54 titles, and he might have been here longer if we’d have backed him. These are all if buts and maybes but I liked Gerrard.

P. S i don’t want Muscat or Del boy, I want a winner that plays good football and doesn’t have weird tactics. Muscat I get has won stuff but in a country that has football or Soccer across there as not even a popular sport! The backlash from that going wrong would be bad. And Del hasn’t won barely anything.
Pascal Jansen I’m warming too, but haven’t made up my mind yet!

11.) 04 Oct 2023 09:21:20
There was progression with Gerrard season to season until we win the league. If fans see progression then it will get supported. Beale has took us back 3 years.

12.) 04 Oct 2023 10:06:35
Well answered me rangers.
Gerrard rebuilt the football side of club top to bottom.
Also the journeys in Europe were something else after the years of lower leagues and bad managers.
He won 55 and stopped 10.
He left us top of the league by 6 points and with a squad worth a decent amount of money.
For me Steven Gerrard is a rangers legend and I appreciate everything he done for rangers.
Without doubt he was a success.

13.) 04 Oct 2023 10:39:15
Neil Lennon stopped the 10 as they imploded under him add to that C.V..
Not knocking succes but not looking at all the facts led to Beale being appointed.
These guys came accross as some sort of geniuses due to that league win and facts like St Johnstone won 2 trophies to Gerad's 1 are ignored.

14.) 04 Oct 2023 10:50:13
Everything about the club was absolutely amateur until Gerrard came. Yes he won 1 trophy in 9 but it was THE trophy he was brought in to win. He also brought back some pride and professionalism to the club! Do not underestimate that, our standards were slipping slowly and surely before his arrival.

15.) 04 Oct 2023 11:24:20
Clara we want the whole league season undefeated and conceded just 9 goals mate

To put that into perspective we’ve already conceded 10 and Celtic already conceded 4.

So I don’t think Neil Lennon had anything to do with rangers winning the league for 55.
