I would like to think that Danilo after a couple nasty injuries will be the player we hope and if Cortes comes to the party I think we could have a very strong frontline when we add a Cerny replacement
Still interested to here the few guys in the know if the goalkeeping position is being made priority

With rm style of play and ball retention I think may help butland. Butland is a great shot stopper but not great with the ball on the ground. I think rm will want simple passes out from the keeper. I don't imagine a new keeper being signed.

Reading the post on sale of Raskin and Igamane, we take 20 mill brilliant we buy 4 players at 3-4 mill and if they are same quality as these two then sell them for 40 mill next year we're on the way to a strong financial future.
I believe the choice of replacement can be more important than than screwing every penny out of the sale, as any sale timing and price the customer will pay is the factors.
Good luck to them both if sold and here looking forward to our next new future stars.

The replacement is the most important part.
its just Raskin is a hard replacement as he thinks he's a no.6 but he's so much better as a no.8 defensively his and Diomande stats are basically on par but it's the Aggression and he's a little bit dirty at times which we lack from others.
Metinho guy has been mentioned and also that Pizzaro who knows we might end up with both.

Gor first time on a few years we have some great assets in our playing squad. I'd be looking for close to 50m for Raskin, Diomande and Igamane combined if not more with add ons and sell on percentage. Then there is Jefte possibly Cortes and Barron giving at least another 10 to 15m. We bring in the right players and our trading model is in good shape. IMO if we sell Diomande for the money in the media we should move for both Lennon Miller and the young ST from Hearts james Wilson I think his name is as I truly believe both could Sarn us massive profits if we developed them to reach their potential.

My main concern is we change the mindset of the squad of players who undoubtedly have ability as footballers but a weak mentality to win games particularly against lesser teams. I think the issue is 13 years of pain as Rangers fans that we have never been used to previously has turned us into a bunch of suspicious, negative doom-mongers ( easy to understand why at times and I've done it myself) but the truth is no one has any idea how this will turn out.
the bigger issue will be if the players brought in are underwhelming, a huge section of the fan base have already made up their minds about the manager before he's even in the door which is grossly unfair but its a sign of the times.
Imagine if this was 1991 and we promoted our assistant who had never managed anyone and had only played with dumbarton and dundee utd to be manager of the club? Walter would've had the same reaction to him becoming manager.
Russell Martin could turn out to be a great appointment we just have to wait and see, Daniel farke was probably not the manager leeds fans wanted but it worked out OK for them.

If Danilo is paid 20k weekly more than the 5-6 we are offering other players just now it a million a year, if we sell him for 2 million we lose another 1 million, then we also have to spend 2-4 mill on a new striker who may or may not be good
Financially it would be sensible to keep him and play him, esp if played to his strengths and the new manager can progress him as a player, if so we may just get 5 mill back in a year.
