This team beat Partick Thistle 2-1 in September 1958. Hubbard scored from the spot then Ralph Brand scored. It was the first Rangers game I ever saw, I was aged 7 and because he scored the first Gers goal I ever saw, Hubby became my hero, even though Bobby Shearer was a friend of my dad. Later in life Hubby and I became friends.
